If only we had Lane

Ole Miss didn’t have any fight in them after the first TD drive. 9 penalties, gave up 9 yards per rush. Didn’t even try to play defense. Defense looked like d’Onofrio. I refuse to move the goalposts and say, “well wouldn’t rather have 9-3 every year instead of what we have now”? Of course. But 9-3 will get a head coach fired here too. Mario needs to hire Dan Mullen, get the **** out of his way, stack one more top 10 class, and enjoy consistent success in the CFP. I mean ****, top 12 teams make it. NCAA practically daring Miami to resurrect from the dead.

So he loses to good teams ? I wish we only lost to good teams winning 9 or more games. While having more talent than OM. He coaches in the best division in CFB while not having near the financial backing of Bama , Lsu , A&M and Auburn. Hate on him all you want but he’s a good coach.
He is a good coach but last year finished 8-5 on a 4 game losing streak and 3 of those to a not great Arkansas, Texas tech and Miss St.

Miss State was like a Top 15 team in the analytics only brought down in the W-L column by the fact that they played so many high ranking teams.

And Arkansas was a high ranked team as well.

Miss st is a rivalry game and anything can happen but Arkansas last year did not have a tough schedule. They were not high ranked unless you count a preseason polls lol. Yes they played Bama and LSU but that was about it. They lost to a 8-5 liberty team so sorry Arkansas was not a good loss. Texas tech was not great either. Lane had a not so great year last year. He is still a good coach but as to your response about Arkansas…. No.

That didnt show my agenda....i pointed to last years lost because you stated kept with in 4 scores or 4 tds OR WHAT EVER STATEMENT U WAS RUNNING WITH FOR REFERENCE...

JUST LAST YEAR MARIO CRISTOBAL GOT THE PASTELITOS BEAT OUT OF HIM BY **** NEAR 50 AND WAS 1 OF THE FIRST RIVALRY GAMES I HAD TO STOP WATCHING.
And this yr with a true freshman qb completing 33% of his passes on the road, we had the chance for a game tying/winning drive. Lol

Every team in the SEC West but A&M was ranked in the analytic Top 25, with over half in the Top 15.

It’s a division of heavyweights

8-2 with no real wins. Has like 2 maybe 3 wins in his career against teams that end the season with 9 or more wins. Was like 1-19 at some point. But it’s Ole Miss and the SEC. Yet everyone forgets his years out at USC where he had top 10 classes.
He has wins this year over Tulane (9-1) and LSU (7-3 and on track for 9-3)

Do w/ that info what u want, but I think it’s real funny trying to compare Ole Miss & Kiffin at this point as to what we’re seeing in Coral Gable. This is coming from someone who vehemently argued w/ the Lane Train Crew on this board. My lil homie played for this dude at SC; I’m not remotely a fan, but ya’ll r dumb af w/ all this tangible evidence right in front of our eyes at this point. Ole Miss will most likely finish 10-2 in the regular season w/ a top 5 tough schedule, while we’ll be fortunate to finish 8-4, but most likely 7-5 w/ a far easier path.
