There's two sides to every coin and regardless of what people say, this game is going to be 50/50. There's only two possible outcomes. A win or a loss.
If Miami WINS...there's no reason to think they lose ANY ACC games with exception to the toss-up against Florida State. A win against Florida sets us up beautifully for a National Championship....Florida, Florida State and then Clemson in the ACCCG!
If Miami LOSES...there's NO telling how good or bad this season will be. A loss to Florida doesn't mean we can't go UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY!
Both Miami and Florida has questions that, for the most part, will be answered this Saturday. Regardless of what any of us think, we aren't playing Saturday...the players are. I can only think that with a win against Florida, this will give the players the confidence and momentum they need to be "BACK".
With a win, the ACC immediately has 3 National Championship contenders between Florida State, Miami, and Clemson.
If you believe that Miami will be Florida Saturday, there's no reason for you to think Miami won't be playing for a National Championship. YES I SAID IT!
Either which way, I believe Miami has enough to go UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY AND END THE SEASON 12-0 OR 11-1.
What's your take on the significance of the match-up against Florida?
