idk if i ever believed that miami didn't have the money to pay their coaches. they have a lot of well off alumni not even including the pro athletes. i just think that all their money goes towards academics.

I discussed this in another thread but I don't think we have that one or handful of core boosters with serious cash and interest in pushing the football program to excellence like Oregon or Auburn.

We have lots of colonels but no general.

He should be paid in meatballs like adam sandler in the wedding singer. That fat **** could feed them to he's boyfriends Coach C- & D+

With ACC revenue sharing in the mix now, there's more than enough money available to put together a complete, and competent staff.

Narduzzi makes like 900k. Offer that monster 2 million per.

He already likes Miami's old defense

Narduzzi made 558k last season.

Offer him 2.5 mil.

He's at 850k as of last season.

He signed a contract at Louisville making $1 million a year. I thought that was general knowledge. Regardless, I don't think it is wise to go after a coordinator anyways. Chances of success are slim.

Didn't know that. Thanks for the links.

A proven killer of a coordinator I'm fine with. No unproven coordinators or corches.

The problem isn't necessarily what we will be able to pay our next HEAD COACH, it's what we can (or are willing to) pay his assistants. I would love to see the operating budgets for assistant coach salaries nation wide. We severely (or traditionally have) under pay our assistants and coordinators.

There's more than enough money available to do that.

Land deals, ACC revenue sharing, and revenue the football program generates.

You don't have overpay an unproven guy like Narduzzi. He wants to be a HC and would chop his nuts off to have a gig at a place like UM. Give him a raise down the road if he earns it. Same with any of these other coordinators.

Best coordinator in college football is Pud Foster. Imagine what that dude could do with the talent he'd have here. No one would ever score. Of course, the question on him would be what type of offense he'd install, but that would be the same question on any other DC you'd hire.

Out of the ones that are known, none as of last season.

Only Chad Morris, Kirby Smart, and John Chavis make > 1 mil.

Grantham

Grantham? Georgia couldn't get rid of him fast enough.

I don't think anybody in the country did less with more than him.

The correct answer is Narduzzi. Pruitt also, but most think he wants that big SEC job.

He makes more than 1 million $ is what he was referring

Foster would kill in Miami.

As for overpaying a guy like Narduzzi, u have to give him a reason to leave a good situation IMO. You think 1.5 mil or 2 mil would be enough?

The good reason is he'd be the HC at fcking UM and not a DC. If he wants to be a HC he couldn't ask for a better chance to show out.
