I’m gonna lose it. Or at the very least be irritated. This idea that Miami is no longer a destination school because of facilities is laughable. First of all, the whole city of Miami is all the “facilities” you could ask for. Second, Miami upgraded their facilities. Third, if facilities were the determination as to whether or not your team will contend for the playoffs then Oregon and Texas would be in the top 4 every year. Fact is coaching and the rest of his staff is 90% of what makes a team great. Sure facilities can attract some but how great are the facilities at Cincinnati or Oklahoma St? A great coach can overcome the facilities issue. It is also not lost on me that I started by saying I don’t want to hear about facilities then proceed to mention facilities at least 10 times in this post. Now I’m mad at myself!!

There’s no harm in continuing to upgrade the facilities. Word is the locker rooms are next. Couple that with the weight room upgrades, the IPF, and the new frosh dorms - all these things will allow Miami to remain competitive facilities wise. I think Rad would just make them even more attractive to kids who matter the most.

"Facilities."

Miami has certainly upgraded its facilities but they aren’t complete. The lockeroom/player lounge and training/recovery room are severely lacking. We fix those and then everything will be all set. With the money they supposedly throwing around should be an easy fix

Been to the school many times, the facilities are much better than they used to be. Due to the area they are smaller than a lot of other schools but the facilities are not bad. The size does make them feel inferior in a way, the grandeous to it at other schools, but they are fine and getting better every year. We still need a few more things but that's not what is ultimately holding us back. Neither is Hard Rock.

Tuscaloosa and An Arbor need "facilities." There's nothing to do in February when it's cold. Miami's facilities is the beach where in February women are still wearing yoga pants that are way too tight.

The people that actually came up with the cash to improve our facilities should never forgive Blake for being such a **** poor salesman of them nationally. Manny to a lesser extent too.

EVERY time a clown/SEC propagandist like David Pollack and others spew that nonsense then Blake and/or Manny should've went public on social media or wherever and a) asked when was the last time you were on campus (I believe Pollack actually has been recently so he's just a liar) and b) invite them for a personal tour while including photos and videos of everything new.

But this was all the amateur hour mismanagement that we're soon hopefully getting far away from.

It’s asinine to think facilities doesn’t matter; if it didn’t, high schools nor colleges would invest so much money into them.

At the end of the day, a school that produces the most NFL draft picks, and the rep of the HC matters the most, but u r absolutely fooling urself if u think an impressionable teen is not going to factor in mundane things such as the facilities that they’ll be spending majority of their time in & uniforms into decisions. We’re talking about kids here; not adults.
