If I am Al Golden

Resign? **** that, leave his fat *** and his boyfriend Dorito in Tally , make Flake pay half the buyout out of his own pocket and get cracking finding a real savage. Also, Put Ice in charge so that he shakes the rust off the savage button on the players.

The man is making around $200k per month in a tax free state in an actual city where his wife and kids can avoid any sort of backlash or community ridicule. He ain't going anywhere until he's told to and handed a goodbye check.

That works if you are a top 5 college football coach of all time.

Not if you are Al Golden.

If I was Al I would have pulled an urban Meyer

Family issues got to step away got while

Interview in a year or two and start fresh

Golden would rather have a massive heart attack and die on the sideline than resign and give up the money.

Miami is his last payday.

Golden has to see there is no way he can turn this ship around and the pressure that is mounting has to be wearing him and his family out mentally and physically. If I am him (good thing I'm not), I think the smart move would be to:

-Save face, negotiate a buyout from the school (both parties meet in the middle and both parties sort of win financially in this situation). Have the school spin it as a resignation similar to Texas and Mack Brown (Resignation).

-Take a year or two off to rebuild my foundation as a coach and re-charge (schemes, pillars (LOL), connections, philosophies etc.).

-Come back into coaching as a Coordinator and work my way back up the ranks

Nope. Fire Mark. Hire Butch as DC and Co-Head Coach(With secret deal for Al to leave after next year). Turn over defense and recruiting to him. Then hire a ST coach, and take over TEs. Think about a replacement for Coley(Don't need his recruiting with Butch in town). It would shut us up. Improve the team and rocket recruiting. We probably make major Bowl next year and Al leaves a winner and takes over some sucker program in Big 10. Otherwise Al is coaching D1 again.

What mental disorer do you suffer from?

I meant "Otherwise Al is NEVER coaching D1 again." Is that better?

If I was Fraulden, I'd commit Polish suicide.

out of all of the banner ideas for this weekend this one hit the nail on the head

it's okay for this fan base to want butch back. But any banner mentioning butch would be idiotic and completely hypocritical to most, as they flew banners calling for butch's job as well.

I say just keep it about golden and the rest will play it's part when he lets the team fail on the field

Golden knows it will be a while if ever before he gets another job that pays him 2.5M,he won't leave a single penny on the table.

Golden is one of the most stubborn individuals I've ever seen. Literally, he's gone fishing, mentally, and awaiting all of his money. We tried to, allegedly, negotiate a buyout w/ him last year, and he laughed at us. We tried to get him to get rid of D'Onofrio last year to save face, and he laughed at us. Golden is a chump and I truly mean that. I wish he never came to Miami and if he ever gets another coaching gig, and I don't care if it's at a Div 3 school, we need to schedule that school just so we can hang 100 on them every year and show him how a real football team is supposed to look.
