IF Golden's fired the impact on RECRUITING

would actually help recruiting. most of our recruits are currently looking around and you know if he is retained that the class will unravel by signing day

The problem is that half the class will decommit if golden is retained - this has happened EVERY YEAR.

Every year under golden we have a great class committed and then it collapses on signing day.

But you bring up a good point about recruiting, which is why sooner is better and we should bring Butch in right away. If you bring him in early enough, you won't have a lost class that can set us back years.

Al's recruiting classes always fall apart once the season starts. Firing him early and hiring a real coach, a/k/a Butch Davis, now, will do 10x more for this class than anything. Anyone we lose we were going to lose anyway. The bigger question is how many of Al's recruits will Butch want to keep. Given Al's attrition rate, I assume Butch's superior eyeballs will dump 30% to 40% of this class. He will be looking for Miami players. Doesn't matter because Butch's history of 1st round picks opens any door he wants. I can picture Butch walking into a living room that Saban or Urban is in and pointing to them saying, "Move over, that's MY spot!"
 
Most all his classes imploded when the season ends because we rarely went out on a high note. The time we did, we forfeited the ACC championship and a bowl game.

But we ended up with a good class of 2014. It still was a failure though because we still didn't land majority of the athletes in s fla.

All in all rather Al is here or not this class is going to fall apart. If we get blown out this weekend might as well fire him and let D'antonio ( yea I know neg away ) run the rest of the year.

In the meantime research for the best coach for the team we have NOW and the years beyond. Let it be known before seasons end, to give our new coach time to put a staff together and recruit until signing day. I know it sounds easier than its seems, but I believe anything is possible 😆
 
LMAO! @ "Golden is starting to recruit His *** off". BS that most of these kids won't come if Golden is fired. Fresh on the scene, and McElwain pistol whooped Golden for Callaway,Cronkrite, & Scarlett...hire the right guy, and they'll come.

And how pathetic that these bozos would stoop as low as to use teenagers to save their jobs. Ya'll remember that article that came out that quoted a bunch of recruits saying it doesn't matter who the coach is?...and then a few days later, some of those same kids said Golden getting fired would effect their decision..who do you think got to em'?

This ain't His recruiting class anyway, it's no secret that recruiting has been outsourced to Baez & company.
 
Again, Butch should be named HC In Waiting, and take over recruiting ASAP. Give Fraulden his walking papers, but let him finish the season, to save on the buyout.

Butch will get 90% of the recruits he wants to keep, and may steal a few committs from elite schools. His reputation alone will open doors previously closed to us.

Get the new hire in early enough and everything will be fine. There is plenty of talent on the team and most of it is coming back. With a good coach kids should be climbing over each other to play here.

The right hire would make this the #1 class. Chip Kelly or Butch could have anyone they wanted.

30-40% is actually a big percentage. This is a pretty **** good class so far, chief. Full of local kids. I am looking at the list and I could only see him dropping Izon Pulley, Zack Moss, and MAYBE James Pierre. (Although I like Pierre)..Not many duds in this class. (unlike the last two years) Its top 10 for a reason. (and was #1 for the better part of the year)

Most players for whatever the reason have said that if Golden isn't retained they are going to look around.

We are ranked 7 right now the following players are under ranked/rated: T. Homer (3-star), Z.Moss, M. Pinkney , Josh Uche ,James Pierre and Dion Jackson out of this group there's at least another 3-4 , four-star players driving the total up to 10 or 11.

Say what you want but Golden is starting to recruit his A@# off and one of the most important parts of returning to glory days is talent evaluation and acquiring better players. Star are just a recruiting services opinion and development of talent is also important

The only thing that will save the class is firing Golden.
 
I can see him dropping alot of kids on our current team before he drops kids from the class.

Bruce will never step foot in a Dooley classroom. **** be in gainesville in the fall.

Hey tough guy .. ease up on the blog tough talk. I am a REAL HURRICANE fan I don't care who coaches us as long as we win.. I am only interested in the talent that we are able to get which gets us closer to glory days and back to dominant play on the field.

Dont worry this dude is a major troll and an already established ckc sucker. He tries to belittle everyone on the board and you have to feel sorry for him because he has been grounded by his step dad for the past 6 months for molesting the neighbors cat and he is stuck in his room trying to make people's life as miserable and his is.

While we would like to see him say anything like this to our faces at the next Miami game he wont because he has never been to a game and never will either.

Dont forget Miami is the most hated team out there and it has the most trolls on its boards.

Plus, some people must have now woken up from coma. Only way to explain a person to worry about a recruit class under Al Golden.

The facts are there, and he always lose the vast majority of the best players.

How do you think you land recruits? WIN. Like every Al class kids are going to bounce regardless.
 
Goldens classes are always top 10 this time of year, he just never has closed on one...
He needed fired last year, but the suffering continues
