****, copy the Eagles “Tush Push”.He can go under center and pick up first downs in short yardage situations. Or would you prefer we line up in shotgun again and hand the ball off to a RB on 4th and short?

Regardless of who plays QB for miami
Bain, JW20 or Kiko need to knock Jordan Travis out of the game.
Even we can’t win, let’s derail their season

Call it the Cane Train?
I'm not in the locker room, no idea who the team is behind re Van Dyke or a 'change,' but this year is OVER. And if they tank the FSU game you know Mario has had his team quit on him 2 years in a row vs. their rivalThe team is bigger than one single player.
You want to see a whole team quit on the coaches and altogether each other?
Keep throwing TVD out there and have him keep turning the ball over 4 times a game.
If you have an ounce of self worth as a coach, you hold the player accountable for being terrible and you bench him. Doesn’t mean you don’t come back to him down the road at some point, possibly, but you have to bench him at this point.

Emory should play because we're playing with House money & the starter can't stop turning the ball over...
Idk if you guys know this but in this era of CFB, TF QB's play & have success, it's happened multiple times on teams far better than ours.
If Emory really isn't ready & can't play behind a dude who is practically begging to get benched, then we got a lot bigger issues at hand than most would be willing to admit.
If they don't start Emory, it's because they're basically tanking the season, the question then becomes why?
Until Dawson’s Monday weekly presser yesterday, I was 100% convinced TVD would start against the semenholes. He was asked about, and addressed the situation with TVD, right out of the gate. After some of the comments Dawson made yesterday, I’m not so sure TVD starts or at at least if he does start and is ineffective, he gets pulled and Emory gets to play. I’ve attached the Dawson presser below.
If Emory starts/plays, we MUST support him win or lose. Unless he’s just a complete disaster, we need to give him the benefit of the doubt being a true freshman starting/playing against our most hated rival. He’s most likely our future starting QB and he needs to know we’ve got his back.
Because Mario thinks, and I agree with him, that we will get the first pick of the draft.Emory should play because we're playing with House money & the starter can't stop turning the ball over...

I’m willing to lose with Emory than I am with winning with TVD at this point.
Well, that’s the million dollar question. TVD comes across as fragile, doesn’t show it, but it affects his next play - as Dawson said it emphatically, he didn’t want his QB to have a dual mindset while playing. One would hope TVD fights his demons and flourishes (not very positive he can).Slippery slope giving Emory 1st team reps. Does that exacerbate the TVD issues or motivate him to be better?

Not good enough. We need someone who could beat a Clemson-level defense in his first start as a true freshman. I just don’t think Emory has that in him.For those that think the staff found Emory at the local YMCA, he was an Elite 11 QB (top 20 in the nation) and was the #1 QB there for accuracy. Think he ended up like #3 overall.
Such a great scene.
I literally said this in a thread last week and got crucified lmao. How quickly the winds can change from week to week.I’m willing to lose with Emory than I am with winning with TVD at this point.
