We pulled away in the 4th.

Uhhh... yeah.... that would be logical since we were down in the 3rd and blew them out.

I don't care if we scored three TD's in the last 5 seconds, it's hard to call a 25 point win "close."

It's absolutely true. I remember people complaining left and right in 2002 when we were undefeated reigning national champs because we weren't winning games by enough points. With the best scoring offense in school history.

There were cracks showing in 2002, but no one wanted to believe there was a problem. Losing after 3 quarters to a horrid Rutgers team was really, really telling. We were sleep walking.

It's called complacency and it comes from not losing. We **** near lost to BC in 2001 too.

That 2002 team would beat at least half the national champs since.
