Ice Harris

1-3 with Booker T kids that we really wanted and 1-4 (it seems) at RB. Hard to sugar coat this recruiting season in South Florida. Yeah, Al Golden's the main problem but Ice is making a pretty decent pay check too. I don't see any evidence of any positive recruiting bounce or any bridges being built in the community.

I never said its all Ice's fault.

Fat Al is obviously the much, much bigger issue.

But all we were sold on with Ice was how we were never gonna lose out on anymore SoFla kids again we had the "legend" Ice Harris on the staff now in a position where he could recruit. Oh he relates to these inner city kids blah blah blah, he got his *** handed to him this cycle.

Guy is a joke. Look at a position coach like ****** T Rob that kids are lining up to play for whether it was at UF or now at Auburn. Ice isn't anywhere near on that level.
 
Harris is the reason Miami lost Scarlett, according to a person I know who recruits Dade County for another South Florida school.
 
IMO he is on the staff to land kids from Miami. This year recruiting kids from Miami was a train wreck. Some of that falls on Ice. He couldn't even lock down BTW.

Is there any reason why Cronkrite shouldn't be in this class? **** he was the most solid commit we had of all the backs and we told him to **** off.

Even a Cronk/Walton class would've been acceptable. But now we just got Walton when we should have had at least 3 of the 4.
 
****, Ice must have cut some of the boys back in the day. Calling him a joke seems a bit extreme.

T Rob was landing Irvin no matter what. Its no surprise that Auburn is getting all these defensive kids now that were previously thought to be headed to UF.
 
Coley does not get a ******* pass nor does the ******** on Defense that has not landed a DT or stud LB ever....yes EVER

In the OP you said Ice was the one calling the shots on how they recruited the RBs so you were blaming him. Might want to understand what is going on before you post.

This statement actually has more truth to it than people realize... S.Fla ppl in Scarlett's ear saying favoritism will be shown by Harris to his BTW kid... TIFWIW

The only assistant who did anything worth a **** this cycle was Kehoe. That's it.

Exactly. I've been preaching that forever, but it doesn't sink in with dolts. They think if you can't sell Failden's **** product to guys with better options it's your fault.

Coley went from one of the top 5 recruiters in the country to total **** this year. He forgot how to recruit overnight.
