UF did very little pre-snap shifting or motion against us in 2024. When they did, they were actually successful majority of the time. I remember they motioned Wilson a few times and had a big gain on one of them. The other times he made the receptions, but we surprisingly made a good tackles and limited him to a minimal gains.

On the Montrel Johnson long TD run, UF shifted 4 guys pre-snap and our D was out of position and confused. Easy TD for them. Not sure why they didn't do more shifting and motion. USF obviously saw that UF had success on those plays and ran motion continuously.

Going into the 2024 season we were very thin at DB and lost our best DB in Game One

Our best DL Bain was never the same after game one - lingering injury

LBs were always weak

When you have problems at each level ...... you have problems
- Look at Sth Carolina, everyone was high on them coming into 2025 but they lost best DB, Best LB and Best DL.......

We have 4 games played and that is evidence enough!
 
I dig it. I mean every other article is about cam being trash,like he didn't have that type of defense to work with, but yet he playing "hero ball' .bring this topic to the fore front for the blind folks.

I suspect your comment holds a note of sarcasm, but give the OP his due. Before this post, did you even know Miami had a defense in 2024?
