If I had the time, I would. Nothing would make me happier on here than to see that happen.
Take your time, I’ll be here all season.

Agreed, although Jones will cost them games when they start playing some teams with a pulse.Pains me to say it, but Florida looks like a top 5 team right now. They do have LSU at Baton Rouge and Georgia back to back in October
I don't disagree with you except the SEC basically just bought College Football.... Over the course of the next 3-5 years the entire landscape of what we know about College Football will drastically change.... Not sure where and even if Miami fits in anymore...Agreed. Which is a problem for college football that when you have only the same 2-4 team every year competing for the championship, the playoffs became boring and under watched, as they ere last year.
When Herbie and the rest want UM, FSU, USC to be good, it also in part because they realize that college football gets better ratings when it isn’t just the SEC, Clemson and OSU. Last year’s playoof ratings were the lowest ever.
MSU going to get exposed. Might not be until a few more games, but they will crash and burn by end of season when they start playing the big boys.Michigan state barely beat a **** Nebraska team. Get them tf off this list just cause they beat us by more lol.
Arkansas I agree with though.
15-0.... No??.... Is that still allowed???... We Byke??? Is that a thing too still??? No???

Haters gonna hate…hate….hate. You brought up how college football is extremely top heavy this year and even more so than usual and someone had to find a way to bash Manny even though they are unrelated. Sure anyone can twist ideas to make them related I just don’t understand why in almost every thread it turns into Manny sucks all the coaches suck and we need to fire everyone and start all over. I don’t realistically understand how people think that we can entice an elite coach to come here here who will turn everything around and we will be in the playoffs in a few years. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is Miami is not an attractive head coaching situation and I think as a fan base we need to come to grips with that. Think about it, why would any elite coach want to come here? We have a horrendous athletic department, we don’t pay coaches salaries high enough to land elite coaches, we don’t pay players to come here like the few programs that do that have separated from the pack (you know what the thread was supposed to be about), unrealistic fan base who will want you fired if you don’t make the playoffs within 2-4 years, national perception of being overrated and living in the past, half filled off campus stadium, etc, etc. Like it or not, this is one of if not the hardest head coaching gig in all of college football. The only thing that gives us an advantage as a university is being in a fertile recruiting area however, we can’t take advantage of that because we don’t pay recruits and HS kids now a days are front runners and want to go to programs that are in the playoffs almost every year and we haven’t been that good since before these kids were even born so they have never seen us dominate except for You Tube videos or fireside chats with uncle Pete reliving Miami’s golden years. I wish more then anything that this wasn’t the case. I love the Canes more then anything and everything (well except for family). I miss the days when teams were intimidated to come into the OB. Not sure what the answer is because like I said it’s going to be hard to land an elite coach for a myriad of factors. I think if we keep on having a revolving door of coaches we are going to stay irrelevant and mediocre. Sure Manny definitely needed to coach for many years at the G-5 then P-5 level before getting the head coaching job here because once again this is a really hard head coaching spot. I don’t blame him though because it’s his dream job and I don’t know anyone that would turn that down. I feel like the very best scenario for UM is to give Manny a little more time on a short leash to see if he can turn it around because if he can we will have our Bobby Bowden or Frank Beamer. Meaning we will have a coach who will stay with us for a long time and not bolt to the NFL as soon as we build a championship team. That’s best case scenario for UM. Will it happen? Most likely not but it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility. For all of Manny’s faults and lack of experience you can’t deny he’s extremely smart, bleeds orange and green, and isn’t scared or intimidated to make the difficult decisions needed to improve deficiencies. It’s also hard to deny that our last 2 recruiting classes and especially last years are not going to be special. Changing up the recruiting department and rules of what a verbal commitment means as well as recruiting kids that are winners and most importantly want nothing more then to be Canes has not only stopped the record numbers of de commitments that has plagued the university for a decade we have also upgraded our talent on the roster tremendously. PLUS everyone seems to want Mario and he as well as Manny still have a few more years on their contracts so in order to get Mario now I am pretty sure we would have to pay Manny and Marios buyouts since Oregon isn’t firing Mario. Could be wrong about that though notShow me anything remotely resembling an excuse made this season and I’ll never post here again.
And we all look forward to your foot winding up in your mouth again and again.Take your time, I’ll be here all season.

Could be wrong about that though noton how contracts work. So why not possibly give Manny a few more years to see if he can right the ship and keep upgrading roster talent unless of course he totally ***** the bed especially with recruiting. It seems like the most logical plan of action because either he turns it around and we got our coach for the next few decades or he improves the roster for the next coaching staff so they don’t have to start from scratch with a horrendous untalented roster like Jimbo did FSPoo

Fair enough. Logical thinking can be a difficult read. Good thing in America we have the freedom to chose. Go CANES!!!I tried to read this but ....

Oregon is not part of that list.
They were up 24-19 last night at home against Arizona (is Duke bad) and UA had the ball late in the 3Q and also struggled mightily with Fresno State.
I’m not a silver lining guy at all, but winning is winning. Unfortunately when you get deeper in the season you have to rely on game planning and coaching and that’s where the real top 10 emerges.I’ve posted on here multiple times there’s not much difference between teams 15-35 and on any given Saturday any one of them could beat the other.
It’s actually team 5-35. With few exceptions every Saturday is just survive and advance.
The enter/return key is a crucial component of the keyboard. Familiarize yourself with it and your life will be forever changed.Fair enough. Logical thinking can be a difficult read. Good thing in America we have the freedom to chose. Go CANES!!!
Oregon looked quite vulnerable yesterday. Don't let the final score fool you.Chaos.
