Kiffin is a death penalty all wrapped in 1
I doubt we'd get death penalty, but fully agree it all ending with us getting sanctions is most likely. ...BUT would it be worth it IF we win a Natty doing it? I believe so. **** I'll take a 5 season heater to the top to flush out that past decade plus of ****.

Obviously ideally we just get the best candidate that won't lead us down that path, and will reach sustained success, but who are those coaches ?

Kiffkn is a better option than a lot of guys we could hire imo.

Death penalty? I would think of it as more of a mercy killing. Might be nice to get my Saturday afternoons back.

Well if we're sticking to guys we can legit hire than why are people even discussing kiffin in the first place? Whether people fail to admit it or not they're a better job than us in this immediate future. Kiffin to go along with sec recruiting budgets and sec bias is a dangerous pairing. It just comes down to did he learn his short comings from his Tennessee days and adapt with them. But is what it is. I'm done one this topic cause we're not QUITE at that point just yet.

Id take my chances with the death penalty for Kiffin. Couldn't be worse than the football we see now. Also, the ncaa has been defanged. Nothing to be afraid of anymore. It is a totally discredited organization and every school knows the way to handle them now is to stonewall. If a school is a moneymaker for the conference, the conference commissioner will tell Emmert to go f#ck himself and there is nothing the ncaa can do. Ncaa doesn't have the balls to cost the acc or sec tens of millions by sanctioning a popular program for several years.
Posters complain the ACC Tobacco Road Mafia has it in for Miami NOW. Can’t get a break from the ACC refs. But they’re going to let Miami start up a bag game and other shenanigans to become elite...

Besides, Miami’s own local media would expand their Canes beat writing teams for the sole purpose of writing the stories that brings the program down.

#1 key to winning was FOCUS, we didn’t show any sign of it @CANEMC , 15 stupid penalties proof it.

We tried to comeback and still not focused IT NEVER WORKS.

If we were FOCUSED we win by 3-4 TD’s easily.

PENALTIES MADE ME SICK , TEAM KNEW IT ABD KEPT DOING IT .

Back in 2019 I asked you if it was possible for the program to turn around and you answered something to the effect that under these 3 clowns, the answer was no.

So I'll ask now, would Kiffin work with Highsmith as a 100% football AD? Would that keep us out of trouble?

Both are aiming a lot bigger than him, some would say both are unrealistic. Maybe his name pops up after they start crossing off names , especially Lsu for obvious reasons

Riley to LSU is supposedly the hot rumor this weekend.

Cribby, would the Pirate work out here with serious money left over for a DC? Assuming Mario stays inOregon and Aranda goes to USC.

Pretty much agree with all of this.

Apparently he turned down the Miss. St, South Carolina and Auburn jobs (I assume an interview for).

I guess he's sat on the LSU job? Or he thinks he can elevate Louisiana?

INDUSTRY SOURCES DON'T anticipate a lifetime stint for Napier in Lafayette. There's an anticipation that he'll leave when the right job comes along -- one with a track record of winning, a commitment to football and a clear alignment from the school president to the athletic director.
I like Napier, but he isn't coming.
