Not saying our administration is too competent to make this hire. I'm saying it doesn't make any sense he is already hired when we just paid at least a quarter million dollars to a research firm for absolutely nothing, research firm according to ex-players still interviewing them, and many many other indicators on the ground. As incompetent as our AD might be, he and the BOT would at least want to show they did their due diligence by waiting to offer him at least later.

Didn't read all the responses so sorry if it's already been posted but the Miami is so retarded, that they already extended an offer to somebody that is unproven and shortly after hired an expensive consulting firm to help with the search?

But if somehow we get stuck with Mario it will all depend on his staff. We already know he can recruit SoFl very well. If he hires good coordinators and good position coaches I think it could work. He has been around Saban for a few yrs so he's had to have picked up some good traits. Let's face it, no one's winning at FIU. Had he not left us like he did I am sure most of us, including me would have a slightly different opinion of him. I don't know what to think. I'm torn. All that said #BBB
 
it seems like all the local high school coaches ,boosters, recruits and former players love mario so wouldn't be surprised if he gets the job honestly .
