Teams will start slow at times. Especially a team that is as young as UM. They put FAU away in the second half and could have easily put up 50 plus points if Golden did not call off the dogs.

You are looking solely to the score and ignoring how the team looked for the majority of 60 minutes, and you are talking about me sounding stupid?

What game were you watching? They didn't struggle at all on offense all game. Defense in 2nd half didn't struggle either so I guess they made adjustments at half time.

I admit to not watching the game BUT to be tied 20-20 by FAU does qualify as a dog fight. It is one thing to give up 20 points to a HS team when there are cheap late game scores after the game is decided; it is completely different for a HS team to have your *** tied up 20-20 with the game in question. This year will not end well.

The players looked unmotivated and disinterested on the field last night as they have for 5 years

We as fans have to sit and watch this **** show and laugh.

And can someone explain why our Dline seemed to never be lined up before the offense got to the line? That is unacceptable for defense.

We were tied with FAU and their backup freshman QB in the 3rd quarter. Just let that sink in. And that was after they gifted us a muffed punt. I am absolutely stunned that anyone who watched that performance last night could still have any faith in Al Golden as this team's head coach.

Last night was just a small step towards our ultimate goal. All positives. Nebraska will kick our **** in next week on the ground and we'll be on our way
 
I don't get this "slurpers" thing anymore. I mean, are there really any slurpers left? Is that still a real thing? Surely not.

If you look at the final score and ignore the ****storm that were the first 3 qtrs, you are deluding yourself. FAU was BETTER for 3/4 of the game except for turnovers and stupid penalties. This showed how bad our coaching was, particularly the OC'a play calling. Our players deserve better.

Of course we all realize what is inevitable. An Al Golden team can't stop a team with a pulse on offense. We're in year 5 of this crap and nothing has changed from year 1.
 
If you understood football (and specifically Miami football) you would understand why most of the fanbase is incredibly upset.

Not to mention -
Refs gifted Miami a TD drive to open the game with a silly penalty.
Miami was 3-13 on third downs.. yeah, the offense did great.
Miami had to covert 3 4th down tries to extend drives.
Not only did FAU lose their starting qb, but they lost their starting RB who was 11-132 yards. 12 yards per carry!!!!
FAU's third down efficiency 7-14. 50% compared to Miami's dismal 23%
and FAU rushed for 223 yards

Luckily FAU turned the ball over 5 times.

The only people satisfied with that win are suckers. Read between the lines, cupcake game was tied in the third quarter. That is a bad omen.
