I think the fixes are real easy

there will be no changes in Coral Gables. please stop the nonsense people. we all know the truth.
TNM=same old story.

1. Fire Penos and bring in spread concepts
2. Fire Baker and bring in someone with a DIFFERENT mindset to work with mannys scheme and help adapt it
3. For gods sake get real coaches in the secondary. No more bartenders
4. WR coach should be a crootin stud

Since firing Manny is not an option this is what I would do:

1. Fire Baker and have Manny take over calling the actual defenses
2. Fire Patke and get a real special teams coach.
3. Keep Enos but have him go spread at least 90% of the game for now. Manny needs to tell him to do this. use 11 or 10 personnel more often
4. impose more discipline into our culture from going to class to having more leadership and accountability from the players when we are losing
5. getting a sense of urgency in all phases of the game. We need to make pretend we are down 3 scores from the coin flip....we seem to play better when we are behind

we need to cure the disease of complacency that has been hanging around this program since the Coker days
You had me until u said to keep Enos. Fire his dumb *** too. Keep Enos as a QB coach. And hire a real OC.

Manny is the head coach. The coordinators need to worry about their side of the ball. The fact Manny has to get involved with the defense tells you, he doesn’t trust Baker. Enos is just clueless. His play calling leaves you dumbfounded.
Like I said, if u have to watch your coordinators and train them doesn’t it tell u that u made the wrong hire ? Come on Manny. I hope you are smarter and see that.

I’d honestly keep Enos for one more year. The problems for this offense stems from inexperience at key spots QB and Oline. I wouldn’t start anew there. But if I did it would have to be someone proven who had a history of running similar principles who would turn it around. I wouldn’t shift from Barry tho.

on D you can for sure fire Blake and not skip a beat. Defense is always easier to install from year to year. But I definitely don’t want manny having to call plays on D. He needs to be in all 3 phases.

Now, as a coach, FIU especially could’ve definitely been a one off, But you can’t approach it that way to your players because this team is clearly the void of productive Leadership at key positions. this week of practice and prep should be the hardest and most scrutinizing week they have had all year. That is how you weed out the guys who are all in against the me guys. And that should’ve started on Sunday with alerting the team with what is going to be expected from them on Monday n Tuesday then wed. The practice today, if guys weren’t zeroed in from the jump I might dismiss individuals from said practice off rip. Their is a standard that needs to be set here on forth. Their effort on Saturday was not acceptable. Their focus was not acceptable. Complacency after 2 wins is not acceptable. These things can be fixed but it’s not easy. Complacency is the easiest trap to fall into. Working hard consistently is the hardest thing to achieve

No.

Stopped reading at "firing Manny is not an option"...

Step 1 - Fire Blake James and the entire athletic department.
Step 2 - Hire a real Power 5, SEC/ACC level AD and let them do their job.
Step 3 - Enjoy Miami Achieving Greatness Again.

Penos to QB Coach/Associate Head Coach.

Chud for OC.

He's tanned, he's rested, he's ready to come back.

I think manny Has a dynamic personality as far as getting players to buy in since he has been here. Baker, imo from what I’ve seen doesn’t seem to bring that. He’s different. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t know ball but his way of communication just seems different. I think that’s where the disconnect stems

the talent level is not terrible

given the right man in charge we should at worst be a 2-3 loss team

but we dont got the right man in charge

If he does not fire Enos after the season-hopefully before the bowl game-then I will know Manny is not the person for this job. This has been an epic fail on the offense, just look at the stats nationally!

You guys truly overrated our talent compared to other programs. Solely based on recruiting rankings

why patke tho. its his fault our kickers are head cases??
Pakte isn't that bad but he is not good either. If you are trying to win championships you need difference makers as coaches and as of rn we have a whole bunch of mediocre coaches mixed in with quite a few ****** ones. We have 3 LBs coach, Pakte, Baker, and Manny, 2 DBs coach Banda and Rumph. The way the coaching staff is allocated and organize is just straight retarded. One DB coach is enough, one LB coach is enough, you dont need a LB and Striker coach it's not like they do things completely different.

Bax was terrible in HS go look it up....u recruit trash u will get trash results. Although there are some Dawgs on this team they aren't shining cause the coaching

Baxa was the 4th rated kicker in the nation by ESPN. I won’t knock them for recruiting him but if they don’t nail a replacement.

really at this point both coordinators have to go. There’s no real reason to keep Manny either except for it being harder to hire after firing a one year coach

The thing is PENOS has spread concepts, he just refuses to go all in with them, even though they work, becuase he is in love with his pro style offense

Guy is more stubborn than Golden and No D. And will suffer the same fate.
