I think the fixes are real easy

Like I said, if u have to watch your coordinators and train them doesn’t it tell u that u made the wrong hire ? Come on Manny. I hope you are smarter and see that.
I hope he’s smart enough for that. However, I think he’s going to let them go because he needs to show he’s doing something. Like Coker firing assistants to save his own ****. We can only hope Manny is learning on the job and he realizes why they were bad hires or it’s going to be another long season coming up.

Get rid of the dancing and trinkets. Fire Enos for ineptitude. Hire a proven, innovative OC. You know, someone that does well against people other than Manny Diaz. Fire Baker and get a more experienced DC. It's not rocket science.

Since firing Manny is not an option this is what I would do:

1. Fire Baker and have Manny take over calling the actual defenses

Manny is too awful a head coach to share time as DC...We need a god **** leader, motivator, organizer who knows how to lead a team and manage a roster, he is butchering the head coaching job...He can't allocate all his time to the defense.

Fire Baker is fine, but bring in a capable DC...You have all offseason to sit down and bang heads together how to mesh your systems.

One of Rumph and Banda gotta go...Too many misses and we look slow in the secondary. Some adequate players that were ranked decent yes? But not enough of talent, especially when located smack dab in the DB capital of the world. (along w the bayou)

Why didn't Enos go run heavy when Jarren continually showed he was having difficulties?

Enos knew that FIU was gashed for over 400 yds. Vs. middle Tenn., FIU's defensive line was not deep and they could be worn down. Burns, DJ and Cam averaged 7 yds per carry (180 yds.) and this was without any real long gainers.

His failure to adjust is very "Richt" like. Time to make a change Manny.

Since firing Manny is not an option this is what I would do:

1. Fire Baker and have Manny take over calling the actual defenses
2. Fire Patke and get a real special teams coach.
3. Keep Enos but have him go spread at least 90% of the game for now. Manny needs to tell him to do this. use 11 or 10 personnel more often
4. impose more discipline into our culture from going to class to having more leadership and accountability from the players when we are losing
5. getting a sense of urgency in all phases of the game. We need to make pretend we are down 3 scores from the coin flip....we seem to play better when we are behind

we need to cure the disease of complacency that has been hanging around this program since the Coker days
this is like a surgeon telling the patient we are going to remove all the tissue that has been affected, but we are going to leave the tumor right where it is .

Firing someone is a "quick fix." Hiring the right person and installing a winning, hard working culture? That's not a "quick fix." Just face the music, hiring Manny in 2 seconds did not save our team (probably could never have). I'm not suggesting that no one should be fired or that Manny is in a grace period. I adamantly believe someone needs to be held accountable for this season (Manny Diaz). But, don't think we are a quick fix away. Instead, maybe question if we have the right guy leading our team.

LOL. Groundhog Day. HC sucks. Fans clamor to fire everyone the sucky HC hired but not the sucky HC because the sucky HC somehow deserves more time than the sucky assistants he hired.
where have people ever come up with this "he deserves more time" bull**** ? a HC who IS the problem can't FIX the problem
how many times do these stupid fans have to go thru the same "bad corch" scenario we have seen for about 15 years ?

right on target Bro ..... Groundhog Day is the perfect description.

Enos already knew what he needed to do. He had that chance and he failed miserably. He needs to go. Period.

130th in 3rd down efficiency.
1 million a year for THAT ???

want a good laugh ? look back at all the little parakeets that were chirping about how Diaz "stole Enos from Saban" LMAO !

I'm not on that bandwagon, actually. The Enos hire was widely praised around the country. Whether he deserved the credit or not, he was credited for helping modernize the Bama offense. Whether he deserved the credit or not, he was widely praised for his work with Hurts and Tua. I liked the hire at the time myself. Enos just failed to epic proportions.

Enos is going to cost us $2 extra million dollars if they fire him. Miami loves dumping money.

Baker just had a kid. I seriously doubt Diaz fires him.

Nothing will change.

These morons give slack to football coaches that they would never give to any other type of employee.

If they sat for a haircut and the barber cut their ear off would they try to come up with some dopey rationale for the barber and return to him in a couple weeks? Oh it was his only his 10th haircut, and the shampoo girl left some conditioner on my ear so the barber’s depth perception was off.

I agree. The fixes are easy. Maybe not championship, but definitely 10 win plus level.

Need to upgrade at both coordinator spots.

Bring in Morris or Fedora or Wilson as your OC.

Make a play for Bud Foster as DC. Hes not ready to hang em up yet, especially if you compensate him handsomely.

I think manny Has a dynamic personality as far as getting players to buy in since he has been here. Baker, imo from what I’ve seen doesn’t seem to bring that. He’s different. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t know ball but his way of communication just seems different. I think that’s where the disconnect stems
Agree. Heard that idiot press conference last night. I see why the players don’t respect him. Dude looks lost. I think he has issues. What a **** show.

LOL! One of my favorite Chise analogies yet.

Total dream scenario but if manny was to cut bait with his assistants (or majority) on both sides of the ball,Corey Raymond should be his top choice For DC/Asst HC and should have the Enos type salary thrown at him. Signed an extension last year and makes $425,000 a year based on an article their school posted. Gauge his interest and offer him anything including a couple of his guys for his staff (refuse to think a defensive guy like manny will completely give in). As far as I know he’s never been a defensive play caller at this level, but to get his recruiting and combine his philosophies especially in the secondary, with Diaz’s I feel would be a pretty good match. Obviously his recruiting credibIlity would be a boost, and as a dead man walking it would be manny’s ultimate attempt to recreate something close to Clemson with the Swinney/Venables tandem. Plus can LSU keep paying all their assistants top money. Between an extension coming for Brady, Already have ensminger, aranda, and Ed O is in line for a pay bump after this kind of season. Again it’s a dream but for a guy that’s been as successful as he has, you have to think he jumps at some job that gives him his first shot to be the guy at DC. As for OC a name that’s constantly on this board in David yost would be a viable option and wouldn’t break the bank... He has **** the bed in year 1, and we know he’s not going anywhere. Just want him to have the balls to admit his mistakes by simply firing them, get him an infusion of actual coaching experience/recruiting juice on his staff, and actually try to fix this. Not just say it with a lisp and fake confidence when you know you’re just spewing nonsense...

The fixes are quite easy to. In my opinion the biggest thing that is holding Manny back, is the retarded idea that for UM's offense to be successful they have to run majority of pro concepts and develope a power running game, which is one of the reason he brought in Enos. This whole idea that if we run a pro style offense UM will be back to glory is ******* stupid. UM did not win championships because they ran a pro style offense they one championships, because they had players who refused to lose and created a scheme that was perfect at that time. It is a new age of football and Manny ***** *** better recognize that his job is to find a scheme that works best for UM and as of right now some type of spread concept will work best. It is quite crazy when PENOS uses spread concepts and they are successful, but he does not continue to do it. Manny is gonna have to force him to build off his spread concepts and if PENOS does not want to do that than **** him.
