I think Kaaya, Njoku and Thomas go to NFL

Let's keep speaking in absolutes all the time. Life is always absolute anyways. BK imo would go around 3-4 round. DWatson having a subpar season by his standards might not be top 5 like he was slotted for. I'm sorry bros by Njoku is going to go fairly high imo. He is a physical freak. Burns, Shields, Graham are all pave the way for a gm to reach a little higher. And most of you people loved paradise camp so much and ran with a few players being gawds or slugs from that camp. GMs do it too at the combine. Have no idea on CT.

Stephen Morris is an emergency QB in the league. Kaaya could not even fill that role right now. He needs his last year so bad. He knows it. Agents know it. He will be back. Njoku might be a goner and he will impress at the combine. I am thinking 3rd round. After all he was the 3rd option on an average football offense. Thomas would not even get drafted IMO. There are plenty of 6-5 265lb de's out there. The guy has just not done much except make raps. He might make a team as a UDFA. Same with Yearby.

Thomas does lead the team in tackles for loss and is tied for 1st on the team in sacks. But he hasnt had a dominant game but he has been solid.

I think Kaaya will be back, but if he does declare, he will go higher than many on here think. It's a weak QB draft and a team like the Jets will be desperate. He wouldn't fall past the top of the second based on his tools if he comes out. Plus he has played most of the season with damage in his throwing shoulder. You could see him flexing it getting up after the roughing the passer call against NC State yesterday. He's been doing that most of the year.

I don't see Njoku coming back.

Agreed, which will be a big blow for the offense obviously. Hopefully the coaches find someone to replace him.

Herndon is plenty capable. In fact, I am disappointed that the staff doesn't use both Njoku and Herndon together very often. Both are special talents.

They have been used together but herndon is usually blocking.

This is a perfect example of how our deficiencies along the o-line are completely limiting the offense.

Njoku is the only one that has any buisness going early. But he should stay and put together a consistent season and become a first round pick. As of right now hes 3rd-4th round. Loads of potential, but a season of polishing will do wonders for his professional career imo.

Only way Kayaa leaves is if Richt tells him its open competition next year.

Thomas not going anywhere.

Listen I don't think Herndon is on Nojoku level but that kid can flat out play. Has very good hands is by far our best blocking TE. I think the kid can be very good in the lead role.

BK has shown he can't succeed when taking snaps under center. Yet. Smart kid from smart family. Can't run an NFL offense from strictly shotgun. Buy some insurance, and come back for senior season.

Njoku I can see leaving and being drafted Day 1. Would obviously love to see him back, but he can get paid.

Pragmatically speaking . . . Is it better for Njoku to take a risk, declare, leave, and go as a third rounder . . . outplay rookie deal . . . get to second contract quicker OR take a risk, stay, and work himself into a 1-2 rounder . . . outplay . . . get to second contract a year later.

I don't know the answer!

Herndon is a nice player and will
Make an NFL squad as a 3rd TE or something. Can do many things nicely - catch, block, run, etc. Although I will say that for as big and athletic he is, he always seems to go down easily. Wish he'd be a bit more relentless in YAC and not go down immediately.

Kaaya played from under center as a true freshmen. People seem to forget that.

Wasn't G-reg drafted first round after RS sophomore season? I see Njoku following that path.

Yes I know. He has not been dominant because he can not dominate. Solid is fine but lots of solid football players in college never make an NFL roster. He needs to come back next year.

This. IMO Kaaya is the most likely to leave due to how national media hypes him as a 1st rounder but he really isn't one right now and he will hopefully know this. Njoku could be a 3rd/4th rounder but if he comes back a 1st rounder so unless he is very very broke I bet he comes back with Kaaya to have special offense.

I know I will her blasted but Chad Thomas makes very few plays and does not seem very explosive off the edge

And yet he has sucked *** at trying to run an offense from under center this year. What the f*ck happened?

Kaaya is not NFL material, you know this because you'd never want him behind center of your favorite NFL team. Njoku is raw and needs more development of his football skills, route running, blocking and physicality. Regretfully you can almost label Thomas as a JAG. He needs another year to prove he's a baller. To be honest he'd be better served to put on weight and muscle and move to DT. Toolbox is a better DE technically IMO and Joseph Jackson has already exceeded expectations we had for Chad.
