I think its safe to say that we will finally stick with our QB room next year

If Mensah comes back that means things didn’t go well for him…. Under performed or got hurt.

The plan isn’t for him to be here for two years.

Never said that was the plan but next year’s class is loaded with QB so depending where he is projected then it could get interesting. To your point, I expect him to be in NY in December.

If he is in NY he will be a day 1 draft pick. So ... will Coleman develop enough and put on enough weight (plus get reps this season) to replace him? Or will Luke be the guy?

Luke has distanced himself from Coleman. Luke will be the backup this year.

Are we sure? Seems like everytime we hear that - a couple days later we hear about Coleman making gains

Making gains? I would hope so - making gains vs where he was in the Spring - yes. BUT wayyy behind Mensah as a QB running the offense.

Yeah I always took his comments like “the plan is…”

We’ve recruited enough blue chips at QB lately that we shouldn’t need to pay millions for one next year

But if they don’t step up we know Mario will make it happen he’d just rather not

I never thought guys collecting an NFL paycheck would be able to return to college, so you never know what will happen with this sport. I wouldn't be shocked if something like that happened

If I were a high school QB, I'd pick a 'lower' program where I could get playing time right away. Then, you just hit the portal and go to a top school.

I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't be allowed. I would think the contracts could be enforceable too.

We aren’t talking about Coleman vs. Mensah or Nickel vs Mensah here. We are discussing Coleman vs. Nickel. Of course, Mensah is way ahead of both of them.
