I think coach Richt may actually have realized it's over

Who did you want bruh?

Lol. I 100% did not want a guy that just got fired for under performing. I get ripped all the time for it because I wanted Fuente. He had the highest upside of the 2 coaches. Obviously looking at him now he isn't as good as I thought, but he still would have been better than Richt.

True but I thought fuente was in the golden mold as a young unproven coach. I thought we needed instant credibility..Whoever we got did you think it’d be quick turnaround ?

Richt isn't what Miami needs. Miami need an innovative mind with NFL pedigree and rich isn't it. He's actually gotten worse as a coach. Qb's are supposed to be his specialty and that's the worse part of this team right now in year 3. Pathetic. I mean this dude wanted art sitkowski or wtf ever his name was and that dude was trash. I know he eventually got rid of him but with? I watched the guy for 3 mins and said dam he sucks.

This!

Not a quick turnaround, but I didn't expect us to be getting spanked by BC and UVA in year 3 either. I didn't expect to have the worst QB in history as our starter in year 3. I also did not want Richt because I knew he had an itchy suspension finger and you already know how I feel about that lol.

That scene with Trajan at the end of the game was pretty telling to me. He looks totally defeated, lost, and overwhelmed.

Maybe he does the honorable thing at the end of the season and retires because the game has completely passed him by.

I think you may be on to something here, but doubt he'll be retiring. I too think that last scene with Bandy was possibly a telling sign that Coach Richt has come to the conclusion that he's letting the very people he cares about (players) down with his stubbornness and that changes need to be made for the best of the program. I'm sure it's tough to be loyal in the coaching business, but Coach Richt also needs to understand that he must be loyal to the very families who entrusted him with their kids. The players deserve better and I hope that Coach Richt realizes that and prioritizes this over his loyalty to his coaching staff.

GO CANES!!!

Me. was banned for it.

Always asked why he would magically be better here than at UGA. Said hiring a failure coach was a horrendous idea.
I thought he’d be better here cause I had faith in the program history, the recruiting area and the pedigree. I thought he understood the blueprint here and if he duplicated what he did at UGA here ther was a chance to win at a higher level. I always thought what he did at uga was underatted because of the simple fact uga was nothing b4 he got there. They had 1 4 year stretch in the 80s and that’s it.

How many were against Mark Richt being hired

I was not one of them. I liked the hiring. Still think he was the best choice for the program at that time. And although I'm not at all happy with the decline or the least bit satisfied with our play over the last 10 games, I do think all this is very fixable. Now, question is will Coach Richt have the intestinal fortitude and wherewithal to make the needed changes? It's pretty apparent to many of us that offensive side of the ball needs to be revamped completely, with better play-calling and development at QB and OL play. And let's not forget about the porous play from our special teams this year.

Ok. You gotta find a QB though. It seems we have missed on perry because he doesn’t take the game seriously. I’m not totally out on him but clock is ticking. When rebuilding **** like losing on the road happens. My prediction to the season was 11-3 with a bowl win and I was being optimistic . Not looking good Rn. The fears I had for the team have come true bruh. And it’s hard to scheme around it. But **** for me fam year 4 was always the measuring stick

Richt was the one that signed Perry. If he wanted a goody goody QB he should have thought about that before trying to sign a QB like Kosi. It is not looking good for year 4 lol, but we will see.

I agree with all of that and I think he’s gonna make changes. But like u said changes to the offensive staff and a OC and hope to god he recruited the right guys upfront and we should start seeing that talent influence

You really don’t know these kids until they get in your program. But yeah the buck stops with the head man. Hopefully the light comes on for that cat
