I think coach Richt may actually have realized it's over

I guess I'll never understand the stubbornness of a guy like Mark Richt. How can he be having any fun right now? Why does he continue to hold the offense back by calling his crap plays with no imagination or seemingly any game plan? Will he ever realize that it's OK to allow the offense to be high powered, fun, etc. instead of this boring **** that he runs now? Great leaders know how to adapt and inspire. Clearly he's not doing it on the offensive side of the ball.

Mark is stellar human being. There is no question in my mind that him being a coach is more about the experience as well as being a mentor than it is about the money. It just so happens that he's also passionate about the sport and can do both.

He knows what they're doing right now isn't working. He's no less pleased than we are. If he could fall on a sword and save those around him, you better believe he'd do it. Again, that's the kind of man he is.

So had he cried, so be it. He's human, a **** good one at that, and while I want to be angry....I think I'll just be sad that his swan song in the sport doesn't look like it's going to have a happy ending. That's to bad for not only us, but Coach Richt even more.

This 100%. But it doesn’t have to be over for him. He just needs to give up certain duties. He can be very successful here by putting the right pieces in place on the offensive side of the ball.
He did it with the defense. It’s just a matter of putting his ego aside.

this whole fiasco lays at Blake james and BOT, B.Davis would have taken 2.0M and asked for more money for staff
Dan Mullen would have been a much better choice.
if Richt does some soul searching he will come to same conclusion.

at this point i would rather have mario or schiano.
Richt was clearly burned out after UGA and we swooped in and grabbed this guy like suckers.

I thought that but guys are open bro. Even on something simple we dont have a qb that can hit them.

Amazing how time changes perceptions and memories fade.

The only real savages we've had here at Miami were Schnelly JJ and Erickson to an extent.

Savages are feared....Schnelly and JJ were truly feared. I don't feel that other teams ever feared Butch.

While he did build the GOAT team ..that team wasn't feared until the following year... after he left ....and led themselves to the top.

I hate seeing the Canes lose, it sucks. The only fun is getting to the point of reading the posts of those interpreting every post game press conference and sideline shots for deep meaning of what Richt is thinking down deep.

The gameplan & clock management are 2 of many pathetic issues with this team. Our coach still being emotionally vested to the point where he's close to tears is a good thing, not pathetic.
