I think CFB overtakes NFL in 20 years

FFB is fun and popular but the game itself is diluted imo. I lose interest.
CFB playoff is going to be great. So many fan bases engaged.
 
I think NFL fans like that almost every game is a 1-2 position game and there is a constant level of attachment for 4 quarters. Every play means something

College does have a lot of blowouts...but I do believe the Highs are way higher. But there maybe more lows.

As a Miami fan though I'm good with blowouts and less highs. I cant take to many like Friday night.

TV numbers & attendance say otherwise. The problem with ppl is they ignore data & insert their own feelings, views as facts.

According to data, CFB is 3rd in popularity behind the NFL & MLB, w/ the NFL lapping both combined. With Goodell’s international expansion plan, it has made the game even more popular globally. Do I, personally, prefer CFB over the NFL? Yes, but I’m not going to use my preference to speak for the masses.

and it's all perception. Minnesota vs Green Bay almost followed the exact same script as the Bama v Georgia game. I know it wasn't the exact same. ....No one is saying that was the greatest game ever played like they are saying of the Bama Georgia game.

There is way for emotional hype in the college game
 
i can barely sit through NFL anymore, it feels more manufactured & stale. It just might be cause my panthers are stale as ****, but I can barely sit through any of the games anymore. I end up watching way more college games now, every game matters more and there is real fan engagement.
 
look at a listing of the biggest stadiums in the world across all sports according to seating capacity

CFB is very well represented among them

Much like most of what we consume

As it gets more consumable for the mass market, the hardcore audience gets left behind a little bit

Which probably is some sort of psychological trauma to address that I’d rather watch Miami than SF the last few years

Tbh they lost both and I just shrugged

I really think for me, and this is just my personality, but it started when we used to watch games with my boys and then all during the games people started talking about fantasy football. And then more people started talking about it that have no idea what they’re talking about

So I don’t think it’s really the game itself I just don’t really like dumb people liking the things I like
 
Disagree with the conference expansion/alignment **** going on with SEC/Big ten. At this point Im wondering if those conferences just want the best 6 teams from each one to play each other.

Before too long, CFB will be a watered down version of NFL if SEC/Big Ten get what they want.

I like college more but logistically cities appeal more than schools do for the casual fans. You can say what you want about Nil and transfer portal but nfl has become unbearable to watch.
 
While I believe the NFL is boring as all ****, it's perfect for the average American sports fan because it's so appealing to casuals.
