This. l think any top 10 talk is in hopes that he reverts back to his freshman season. That stiffness that is very evident now wasn't there then. Injury definitely took a toll on him. I think he has a lot of upside and his best football is ahead of him. Our fans are clueless when it comes draft evaluations lol.
Don't know if you watch the Dolphins but he reminds me of a more athletic Reshad Jones.
That's just wrong. Any talk of top 10 puts this scrub in ST territory. And ST tested well, was productive on the field, and made game changing plays routinely. James is nowhere even close to that level other than testing good. If you take a safety that high he better be ST good. Compare ST college stats and impact on games to this guy. No comparison so not worthy of top 10 pick. Reed and Polamalu are the two best safeties in recent memory and they didn't even go that high. He reminds me of Roy Williams Cowboys. He will flash once in awhile and make a highlight tackle or two and he might even put up decent stats but whoever drafts him better get used to looking up at the Jumbotron and watching this guy get torched deep regularly. Not worth a top 10 pick at all. Maybe in the 20's just based on pure athleticism is where I'd rank him as a prospect
