i stand with our staff in regards to Henderson/edwards....

All about closing.

This is a results business. Literally only thing that matters. No more excuses.

You think the kids Bama/FSU/UGA/LSU are signed are top character dudes? lol nope. CLOSE

I realize it's a results oriented business but what more could our staff have done? I mean they've been all over these two for months, in-homed, unofficial visits, ect... what more was to be done?

Some kids just want to go play in that hick *** town up North.

I mean why the **** weren't Diaz and Rumph up in Orlando over the weekend for that USA/Canada game watching and being in Henderson's ear?

Why didn't they schedule Edwards for the last weekend of recruiting? Why not insist on verbal commitments?

Why did it take Rumph the night before signing day to start the tweets of Miami as a school that puts defensive backs in the league?

Whatever happens it's all gotta be in context. 3 weeks ago we had zero chance at Henderson, Harley, Herbert, and Thomas was up in the air. If we end up losing Edwards and Henderson it sucks, but still a good close. We just need to produce on the field and show these kids they have a better opportunity here than at UF. They have a good sales pitch at DB and they are milking it. Like putting on a UF jersey magically makes you a top DB.

Meh. Missing on both would mean that we're still losing head to head battles against programs like UF. Who did we beat out for Dean, Thomas, and Harley? Bama stopped recruiting Dean; Thomas's other options were underwhelming; and we dominated Harley's other option in the bowl game.

This recruiting cycle has been much better, but we're still far from being where we should be. We need to stop losing out on the elite guys like Juedy, and we need to start winning battles on the local guys that we want.
All of this. Richt needs to win in 2017 to start recruiting with the big boys. We are recruiting well, but if we want to win it all then Richt and staff have to take it to another level.

Kids wanna get to the league right?

UF whole defensive backfield from 2015 will be starting in the NFL next year

Four first rounders and probably a second plus the nickel who went undrafted but is starting in the super bowl

Some of y'all are just blindly ignroring facts fla puts highly rated defenders in the draft as well as anybody last few years to act like their not making a solid business decision is wrong and ignoring reality

Since 2015 Miami has put 5 dbs in the league with 4 of them starting multiple games this season. 2-3 more are on the way in the draft this year

Stop making excuses for the staff. They failed on every single one of their first targets at DB this year. ***an to FSU. Wright to Bama. Davis/Henderson/Edwards/Wilson to Florida.

The DBs this class are a ******* mess. And its not going to be easier next year with the same staff in place. The players are even better, which means there will be even more pressure from the other schools that didn't rape us this cycle.

Richt ****ed up, he has too little experience in the DB coaching group. Not enough experience recruiting, not enough experience coaching.

With Donaldson and Herbert those were our biggest weakness. Bandy, Dean, Thomas all addressed needs. I would love to have these kids for depth purposes. We will get better next year. And DBs are simply stacked next year. I hope we get Henderson, that kids Iams fast and we need more and more speed

If we lost 1-2 games this past year like we should have, and went to the ACC Championship game, I believe we win a couple more of these battles.

If someone were to say that we took Bandy from Oklahoma, the reaction would be that he wanted to go to Miami anyway. Nothing Oklahoma could've done to keep him. No credit to the staff...Why can't the same be true for these cats, maybe they just wanted to go to UF anyways.

We're going to have to build a track record of not sucking d*** at football before we have FSU type classes. These kids have seen a few new coaches come in with excitement and fall flat on their face; and most have never really seen Miami good, period

Because that is not true. Both had committed to Miami. They wanted to be Canes. We allowed Gaytes coaches to change their mind. What more can you do you say? Visit them in Orlando, text them every day, sent flowers, whatever. You bug the **** out of them and show them mad love. Drop bags.

UM lost four of its top secondary targets to a program in a downward spiral. We had plenty to sell from an opportunity standpoint.

This goes well beyond kids wanting to play up north; this is an issue with the staff's ability to recruit and sell the University of Miami. End of story.

Not the smartest thing to do to come in and troll our board today, Gayturd.

Go back to your swamp, Lizard.

They gone....time to get a grad transfer and JUCO to patch it up! Who's out there right now?

It's crazy everybody knew Henderson and Edwards had a gator fetish all season.... get one report that's says otherwise and had half the board thinking they were locks. Both kids had a spot secured and dropped us a long time ago, if anything we should be upset that we didn't go after other targets sooner.

THIS IS SPOT ON. WE GOT SAVAGES IN THE DB JUST WISH WE HAD GOTTEN 1 MORE WHICH WE WILL IN GRAD TRANSFERS. BUT THIS CLASS IS OUTSTANDING ESPECIALLY AT WR , QB AND OL.

Except for the fact that Jimbo has NEVER had that problem....(even when they were sucking d*** at football). Fact is.....the "first year bump" is a real thing and unfortunately Richt has missed the "bump". Not taking away from the talented kids we have coming it, just the fact we lost nearly every head-to-head battle that mattered. Richt and crew have a TON to prove on the trail because this year was more of the same.

Showed them both more love than UF. Classic case of a SoFla kid using the U as bait for a better offer.
