I said none of our remaining games would be easy

I know we got alot of injuries but idk how i really feel about heatherman . Bain , mesi and scott might of made him look alot better lol . But I’m no coach tho
Hetherma’s game plan was solid for the most part today. His blitzes are still to obvious at times but our dline did our DBs no favors and we still had them at 14 until the backups came in. Thats a solid game.

In a perfect world bell got another year, samson at lg and ben/max rotate at RG. Wouldn’t be the same level as last year but would be great enough

I know this will be a hot take. And the board will flame on me....

But. Watched them last night win.

VagTech is improving. THEY will be a tough out. Especially after the ND game and we win.

The first three quarters of this game are the most impressive I have seen from any team all year. If this team stops with the self inflicted wounds we can not only beat but blow out any team in the country. We just need the defense to get stops in the first half while we run up and down the field. Whatever happens once your up five touchdowns don’t matter. 1-0! Pitt got a decent defense and we dominated.

Opposing teams should arm punt it on 4th down until we figure out how to swat the ball down. Hopefully we get this corrected quickly.

Counts for what? Team stats and rankings? Media voters who only look at box scores?

Genuinely asking. When a game is done by the 3Q and backups come in to get experience and give up meaningless points, what does it “count” towards?
Context matters. Maybe not to the media but for those fans complaining about giving up 23, we should consider who was playing at the time some of those points were given up.

Without question, getting the backups playing time is huge and will pay off in the future.

Absolutely. That’s why I can’t grasp why people would be so hung up on the points allowed or how the backups performed. It’s so valuable to gain in-game experience and I’m sure coaches will evaluate these individual performances.

Side note - was glad to see Wiley in there too!
