I present to you, the Richt-er Scale

Richt shouldn't be judged vs. National Championship winning coaches. He'll never be at that level.

He's won 2 conference championships in 17 years, and IMO should be judged against the 2nd coaching Tier that's usually in the hunt for conference championships.

Mark Dantonio, David Shaw, Jim Harbaugh, Gus Malzahn, Paul Chryst, Chris Peterson - those types.

This is such a stupid thread!

What about small wins? Richt has accumulated a 24-9 ledger midway through his third campaign and has defeated the Seminoles in back-to-back years. Last time we could say this was 2003!!!

Golden lost to FSU 5 times in a row, Shannon and Coker no different!
Ugh, no it's not. My OP points out the legendary losses of Mark Richt.

Golden never beat FSU. Shannon is 2-2 and Coker had FSU's number until 2005.

Richt is an average coach and will never win a championship.

At this point, yes. The damage has been done. We are no longer in a position where a Larry Coker or Dennis Erikson can take the reigns and have success.

People always say These kids were babies when we won a ship, but these kids parents were kids the last time Washington won a ship and their grandparents werent even born yet when TCU won a ship.

Everyone that down voted this, please go find a Mack truck to step in front of.

I didn't ever think I'd see the day we lose to Virginia, BC, and Duke back, to back, to back and the season isn't even over yet. We still have GT, VT and Pit. All **** teams.

Lol, I forgot about this thread. Man, Richt has had some terrible losses.

It's like Pitt last year took all the energy from him.

Add GT to this list.

This team ain't beating VT and they will probley quit against Pitt. The Canes have nothing to play for at this point. Unless you find going to another Camping World bowl or MPC level bowl worthwhile.
