If the past is any guide, the ultimate Richt move would be to rip off four impressive wins in a row, only to lose to Pitt with a trip to the ACC championship game on the line. I don't think that happens. I think Richt goes 2-2 in the next four.

Gary Patterson doesn't have a National Title either. Neither does Chris Peterson. Are you going to tell me they're bad coaches? It took Bowden 23 years to win a National Title. Should he have been fired at year 15? 20? 22?

LMFAO. Are you really saying it is as easy to win a NC at TCU or Wash as it is in Miami. Peterson already made it to the playoffs at UW and TCU hasn't won a natty since the 30s.

Richt is proving to be a better man than coach. After almost 2 decades he’s sill not able to put it all together unless he has overwhelming talent, and even then it’s a crapshoot.

This won’t end well.

This is such a stupid thread!

What about small wins? Richt has accumulated a 24-9 ledger midway through his third campaign and has defeated the Seminoles in back-to-back years. Last time we could say this was 2003!!!

Golden lost to FSU 5 times in a row, Shannon and Coker no different!

At this point, yes. The damage has been done. We are no longer in a position where a Larry Coker or Dennis Erikson can take the reigns and have success.
