Starting fast will be the smartest thing to do. In addition to the rust, they have started slow all season. If Miami comes out aggressively and get up by 10 - 14 quickly, Miami will win this game.

It just keeps rolling around as foolish as it seems but I had to post it as I see our team having every aspect contribute. My logical mind sees a score like Miami 20 Ohio State 13. But I'll stick with 31 to 19.

But the way we play will turn heads and put people on notice more so than our last victory. Our style and culture will be on full display, showing the world we are coming to get what is ours. Miami is on track and putting the world on notice. This game will punctuate that sentence. We are certainly capable of winning this game in a close war. I just don't think our QB is capable nor do we have enough complimentary weapons to toney. Hopefully our team is focused enough and has enough determination to impose our will. We shall see

I can’t be mad at anyone picking against us even in fan predictions. It’s logical that they should win, who can be mad? I hope we win and I know it’s possible but more things have to happen for us to win than them. They are loaded but if their OL plays bad and our DL eats, watch out. You can’t throw it if you running for your life and Sayin can’t move.
 
You know something, @fraggle , with all the national media saying we gonna try to jeep it close, run the ball, can Beck do this or can Beck do that, is he good enough, we can't score points, etc etc etc.... I very much can see this game going to where we legit beat tf out of Taint and the score reflecting that, being the opposite of what they said the score will be.
 
No penalties especially personal fouls and false starts. No penalties, mentally leads to no turnovers. Playing clean begins with no penalties.

Run the ball between the Guards and Tackles. Pull the opposite guard and/or tackle.

Brockermeyer must lose his mind in the game. They are coming directly for him, right down the middle at Beck early in the game. They want him rattled immediately just how they did Dorsey in 2002.

Lofton must be a threat to the safeties up the seams. Caleb Downs must become preoccupied by the TEs as pass options deep down the middle of the field. I would play Brock Schott and Luke Gilbert in the vertical passing game in packages.

Use Josh Moore for back shoulder fades and drag routes. And especially in the Red Zone.

Carson Beck will have to run for us to win, at least 5 times. He should know, expect and be ready to execute this.

I’m not worried about the defense. Just need consistent pressure and effort down the middle by Moten, Scott and Blay. Whoever is left 1v1 must eat.

Special Teams. Every opportunity should be considered and schemed to be a game winning or at least altering play. Don’t take any special teams play off as if it’s insignificant. Play the Starters!

Our Oline wins or loses this game. Mario tough and fizical will control the 4th quarter. If we establish a running game, we win, period.

I keep thinking about the Hook and Lateral play from Dolphins vs. Chargers 1982. We’re going to have to pull something like that out of Dawson’s *** to win by four points.
