Yes, there is stuff to clean up during the bye week. We didn’t play well or coach well to end the game.

But if anybody is “sickened” or any other absurd emotions I’ve read on here, pop in a tape of the 2021 Alabama game.

A lot has changed. We’re the boss now. Enjoy it.

Yeah this Mario narrative people want to push it is what is it.

I’m happy with the outcome and no worried about the mythical future loss.

The only thing I will say is this game was only close due to situational execution.

Get a stop on any of the 5 4th downs and this game is over.

Convert any of the 4 3rd downs and this game is over.

I get some of the frustration. The morning after I look at it this way.

We played an incredibly messy game on the road against our rival and still won. Furthermore won and there was not maybe 5 FSU pass plays where there wasn’t blatant holding and it wasn’t called.

If it’s not Beck and the passing game it’s the running game or both that we can beat people with.

Call it foolish but with another bye week this team is better off with stuff to clean up and mistake filled film to watch than if we’d walked out winning by 5 scores.

Anyone who watched the game knows what we did for 12 minutes in the fourth. Up 4 scores. Not running our D or O. FSU taking a 18 play 7 minute drive.

Anyone who doesn't, didn't watch the game. And why the **** should I care about them.

We were literally just engaging with OTs trying to keep TC in the pocket the last 8 minutes.

Maybe Mario and coaches see the slight risk it can cause and adjusts slightly. ****ers had 12 at the LOS. And the ******* penalties. Lord.

But we won. We didn't pull a Syracuse. That Syracuse game cost us a ton last year. Maybe they're over correcting a bit.

We embarrassed FSU. Any FSU fan showing you stats or saying otherwise is delusional and why the **** are you even talking to them

It was closer to a blowout than it was a loss. Literally just ran into a rational (they exist) fsu you brought that up.

I too was disappointed we did not cut Trailers throat open and watch them bleed out at home. Actually went to bed ****ed off. Did not watch any of the post game stuff or look at phone until this morning. Here is the good news, after listening to these kids in the pressor, watching Bain sit on bench at the end of that game and seeing that look on his face, listening to Mario try to give some praise where he clearly was seeing that these kids where ****ed instead of celebrating, is a blessing. I am proud of how this team is reacting to win. We are a good team, only we stand in our way, the DNA and culture are in place, back to work...clean it up, work harder these next two weeks and grind out the heart of the schedule. We are going to be fine, these kids see it, they have the drive, the work ethic and can taste what is in front of them.

Lets enjoy the win boys, we just ran the table in FL - it all once again runs through The 305.

We played a great 50 mins and I'm happy. The only thing that happened the last 10 mins is we lost contain, which we hadn't all game, and it seemed like players were going for the highlight reel play. They lost fundamentals and were trying to be on the rivalry highlights for years to come.

We also threw on a second down when I wanted us to run up the middle lol.

It’s the way it happened. From complete domination and blowout, to a complete meltdown and barely escaping with a win inside a single quarter.

Sure it’s irrational, but a close, tough-fought 4 quarter heavyweight match where we showed toughness and grit would feel much better than this epic collapse… penalties and this corching trend managed to suck all the joy out of this win.
