I love our fans!!! Check this out!

Ohh here we go with the I've been around since blah blah....first Canes game was in 1985....seen them play all over so don't act like your all high and mighty. It's your choice how you want to cheer but don't lecture people on how they should act.

Canes2082, read carefully, I stated that "I" did not "feel the need to join them."....did not lecture others how to act, only my opinion if they choose to act this way and I am entitled to my opinion. I could personally care less what others do/say other than the fact that it gives the University a bad name. There are A-Hole fans on every team in the nation. Thus, if YOU prefer to act like this guy did.....go for it. I then have the right to my opinion to consider you an A-hole. Hey, I used to sit in the WEZ of the OB during the 80's thus, obviously am desensitized but just simply think people who act this way degrade themselves, and give the University a bad name. I love 'Canes football but also love the University I attended.

...Alabama is part of the NCAA good ole boy network and is almost untouchable. Miami is anything, but a member in good standing of the NCAA good ole boy network and not even close to being untouchable.

Have you no idea what the program has suffered through for the last 38 years or so?

That moron's antics allow the haters to add that video to the 'The Miami Hurricanes are a bunch of thugs and criminals' narrative. ...

Miami is the team that most of college football decision makers love to hate....

The parts selected in your post above are true. Indisputable.

But to think that acting like choirboys helps our program with the powers-that-be, is a waste of time and false hope. We’re still never going to get the benefit of the doubt no matter what.

Whether it’s on late hits not being called against us, but if we brush up against a player it’s a personal foul and 15 yards. That kind of shlt is going to continue no matter what we do.

And Emmert and his preferred good old boy SEC network of institutional racists, that’s not going to end.

If you don’t like that black man’s language, that’s your business. It’s not going to make our program be held in any worse regard by the people that hate Miami. They’re going to hate Miami anyway, no matter what.

People speaking this way is part of the real world that I’ve been a part of for virtually my entire life. It’s all situationally dependent. When I’m in business I’m in business, and there’s a certain way of speaking that’s required. When I played sports or when I used to hoop it, or sometimes just hanging with some friends, when people are loose and feel comfortable, that’s just the kind of speech you’re going to hear. You’ve either been around it or you have not. But it’s real world shlt. I’m not about to tell a black man not to use the N-word. That’s not my place.

Nobody here is going to stop that man, the only way he gets stopped is if security stops him. Why even worry about it?

Thats great that you don't use it, but you sound like an ignorant fool calling people who use it uneducated and ****. Some of the richest black americans use the words.

Cane dude said it well. OriginalGatorHater, please list some rich black americans other than an entertainer. Those that I am aware of and have great respect for such as Colin Powell certainly don't. It is simply not acceptable

It’s 2018 and y’all still have the nerve to tell another grown *** adult what you THINK is acceptable or unacceptable. Lol smh

Just because someone is rich doesn't make them intelligent. Beyonce has a higher net worth than **** near every doctor, attorney and business person on earth. She can barely string together sentences without sounding stupid. Outside of comedians and entertainers, name an educated black person that uses that word on a regular basis in that context.

This piece of **** is not a black person....you can't fool me Soul Man.

Now name the ones that don't...come on and tell us how you live with these people and know their everyday language.

You list the ones that don't since you're live in their homes and are privy to their casual conversations.

The **** some of you morons write is other worldly ignorant.

I have no interest in reading 13 pages of **** on OP's video, but I will say this.

I saw WAY worse than that when we played Carol City in 145 pound Optimist football.

Yup & would also tell them it is unacceptable to rob, rape or murder. You don't have to like or heed what others say, but they are, as are you, entitled to their opinion.

Is the alleged "Floridian" really quoting phrases from SC? LOL...

Be honest...growing up, your mom taught you how to eat an orange like an apple? No peeling...just bite right into that Mfer didn't he?
Lol. It was funny at 1st, then I realized you are just a pass-time.

Thats pretty much all you'll ever be.

No wonder the team has been soft. Hope you fellers don't hurt your pinkies sipping tea. Muffy surely would stress out over that.

We are triple-hoping we can get Vern Carey Jr. for basketball. He's nbr 1 or 2 nationwide for 2019, and everyone has Canes as 1 of the 3 final choices for him...

...he was a guest at the NC game Thursday, of course his Dad is a Cane and Phin. So is it fair to ask: "does one think if he heard this rant we are discussing in thread, it would encourage or discourage his likelihood of picking Canes?" Don't know him, so I'm not sure, but: JustSayin.

What in the **** are you talking about??? Alabama??? Alabama is part of the NCAA good ole boy network and is almost untouchable. Miami is anything, but a member in good standing of the NCAA good ole boy network and not even close to being untouchable.

That moron's antics allow the haters to add that video to the 'The Miami Hurricanes are a bunch of thugs and criminals' narrative. No, one nitwit loudly spewing vile comments as kids and women looked on will not destroy the program but is a NEEDLESS reminder of past transgressions.

Miami is the team that most of college football decision makers love to hate. Anybody that doesn't believe that boiling just under the surface exists a whole mess of folks that would love to be remembered as the individual that killed the Canes football program is at best, naive.

Now, go buy your buddy a drink...the two of you deserve each other!

No, I understand what they have been through and having a fan curse out players is not what caused it.

Who gives af if they are educated. Beyonce has more power and money then the doctors or attorneys. Tons of businessmen make way more than Beyonce. Also, I know a lot of guys that own a bunch of franchises or small businesses that make more than doctors and lawyers that use the word.

SMH. Man he is looking at Duke and will end up there, they are worse than any group ever. Think about the fact they do a ****** act in the stands and nothing ever gets said. IN THIS DAY AND AGE. I've heard numerous times up close and personal how vile they are. Nobody fouler than the ***gots at Cameron. Got so bad they put up LGBQT flags all over campus. Fk outta here

Are the entertainers rich? Yes. Point proven.

Yeah Duke fans are pretty vile u right about that. Canes were nbr 2 prediction for VC Jr behind Duke for awhile, but just in last 2 weeks 2 top analysts moved Michigan State into first likelihood. Dug deep but found no real good reasoning other than Tom Izzo's "charm". SO thought if he be that "soft" on Duke, and still has all these October-fests to attend for recruit purposes, maybe we got us a chance. Would be nice, and would be better to continue this in basketball thread, lol.

That is great news.

You referenced "Black Man" several times in your response to my comments. I am at a loss as to what the man's race has to do with his moronic behavior, or more importantly, my observations.

Yes, I am lily white! I was born into a life of poverty and was raised amongst people of every race, creed, and color. My first best friend in life was, in fact, black and my relationships throughout life from sports to business to social to faith have always included people of every race, creed, and color. Those who know me would get a good laugh when learning someone foolishly suggested I had even a microscopic spec of racism. So, to be clear, I abhor racism. Of course, in today's snowflake environment it's fashionable to accuse someone of racism to try and marginalize those they disagree with. If one of light pigmentation wears a pair of black shoes some imbecile will start screaming...RACISM!!

I 100% agree with you that if the Canes only recruited Choirboys it wouldn't make one iota of difference to the masses who despise the Canes (see Judge Kavanaugh and Choirboy). But, stumbling over to our sworn enemies and handing them a stick to beat the **** out of us is about as dumb as it gets. Worst yet, seeing 'some' Miami fans celebrating behavior that any civilized human being should find revolting is a gift of dry gunpowder to our adversaries that can be used in recruiting. If I were a Florida, Florida State, et al, recruiter I would find a way to show that video and surrounding support by Miami fans to the parents of recruits considering the Canes, while asking the question; "Do you want your son to be in that type of environment for the next 4 years?" And the defense that other schools do the same sort of things is at best sophomoric/infantile and as helpful as teats on a bull.

"Finally, I do not "worry' about the aforementioned situation, but I am frustrated that unnecessary self-inflicted wounds are celebrated by 'some' Miami fans instead of being loudly condemned. While other schools would be swearing that the nitwit was not associated with the school, football program, or any other facet of the University.
