I love our fans!!! Check this out!

I sent this video to a colleague who is a Buckeye alumna. She always brags about their school spirit. Last week, she showed me the OSU band and one 100-year old alumnus who dotted the "I" in Ohio. Yuk! I sent her this video and said that this is school spirt for Canes. Canes invented swag even as the established powers supported the tired, old Pen State/OSU boredom. She doesn't seem to understand the Miami thing. Canes don't want to talk about vanilla America. Of course, she was dismissive of Cane pride and family. This, despite that she is a "liberal." Meanwhile, the JUCOs at my school know what I am talking about.

Are the entertainers rich? Yes. Point proven.

There are rich drug dealers, hit men, and other assorted scumbags. What's your point? Merely being rich, or in some cases wealthy doesn't mean you are worth a ****. Lebron James is **** near a billionaire, merely because he can put a ball in a hoop at a slightly better percentage than his coworkers. Yet the teams of engineers and scientists that are responsible for the things we use every day won't ever come close to being that wealthy. Just remember, there are talented teachers that make peanuts, while Kim Kardashian makes millions. Your financial worth doesn't mean anything outside of a balance sheet. We live in a society in which worth to society, and what you make aren't linked in the least. It sure as **** doesn't point to intellectual attainment either.

This piece of **** is not a black person....you can't fool me Soul Man.

Now name the ones that don't...come on and tell us how you live with these people and know their everyday language.

It's pretty sad that being intelligent is some kind of "Anti Black" stance. Then again, when you accept the low expectations placed upon you in society, this is what happens. I'm willing to bet that Barack Obama isn't running around his kitchen screaming about "Fu** N***as". I'm willing to bet that someone like John Lewis isn't going to be taped at the Wizards game taunting people. Oh that's right, those are intelligent, rational black people. They aren't underemployed, blissfully ignorant hood cats that think that a football game is an excuse to make an *** of yourself.

You referenced "Black Man" several times in your response to my comments. I am at a loss as to what the man's race has to do with his moronic behavior, or more importantly, my observations.

Yes, I am lily white! I was born into a life of poverty and was raised amongst people of every race, creed, and color. My first best friend in life was, in fact, black and my relationships throughout life from sports to business to social to faith have always included people of every race, creed, and color. Those who know me would get a good laugh when learning someone foolishly suggested I had even a microscopic spec of racism. So, to be clear, I abhor racism. Of course, in today's snowflake environment it's fashionable to accuse someone of racism to try and marginalize those they disagree with. If one of light pigmentation wears a pair of black shoes some imbecile will start screaming...RACISM!!

I 100% agree with you that if the Canes only recruited Choirboys it wouldn't make one iota of difference to the masses who despise the Canes (see Judge Kavanaugh and Choirboy). But, stumbling over to our sworn enemies and handing them a stick to beat the **** out of us is about as dumb as it gets. Worst yet, seeing 'some' Miami fans celebrating behavior that any civilized human being should find revolting is a gift of dry gunpowder to our adversaries that can be used in recruiting. If I were a Florida, Florida State, et al, recruiter I would find a way to show that video and surrounding support by Miami fans to the parents of recruits considering the Canes, while asking the question; "Do you want your son to be in that type of environment for the next 4 years?" And the defense that other schools do the same sort of things is at best sophomoric/infantile and as helpful as teats on a bull.

"Finally, I do not "worry' about the aforementioned situation, but I am frustrated that unnecessary self-inflicted wounds are celebrated by 'some' Miami fans instead of being loudly condemned. While other schools would be swearing that the nitwit was not associated with the school, football program, or any other facet of the University.

Him being a "black man" and using that word is relevant because a white person couldn't do the same, and with your background you should know that. I'm sure there are nasty things said to players everywhere and the same word may be used with more racist intent during everyday life in certain "lily white" parts of America.

Unless proven otherwise, it’s fair to assume the gentlemen venting his dislike ‘almost’ directly to the UNC football team, would not be included anyone’s list of highly successful, educated people.

I am glad he had a great time at the game, and The U dominated UNC!

I truly have no idea what you are talking about, and I am not lacking in comprehension skills.

I’m going to reply to this thread just because it’s already at the top of the page.

It’s F$U week and we have a 14 page thread about a fan’s language against UNC?! Seriously? We are about to beat F$U at home for the first time in 14 years. And some sensitive *** mofos want to talk about this bad language. C’mon, man.

Just because someone is rich doesn't make them intelligent. Beyonce has a higher net worth than **** near every doctor, attorney and business person on earth. She can barely string together sentences without sounding stupid. Outside of comedians and entertainers, name an educated black person that uses that word on a regular basis in that context.

My dude, that word is regularly used by black men of all intellects and socioeconomics amongst themselves in private settings. You would know if you were black.

Actually not. You think Johnny Cochran(RIP) was running around his house talking like that? No, I'm willing to bet that the ONLY time you hear someone with an IQ above 70 using that word is to describe someone that is living up to that negative stereotype. Either that, or someone is rehashing a story, or something of that sort. Intelligent people, with an understanding of the history of that word aren't throwing it out casually, just because.

I'm still laughing about how merely not being an idiot is now "Anti-Black". I'm not Black because I don't condone stupid behavior, oh well. Oh my feelings are hurt because some random idiot on a message board doesn't believe I'm Black. Guess Malcolm, MLK and legions of other proud Black men weren't Black either. You think Malcolm would be cool with someone acting like that at a sporting event?

Boondocks is one of the greatest shows in entertainment history.

And those richt drug dealers and assorted scumbags are extremely intelligent. You sound like a broke boy who is jealous of people richer than him. I know black teachers that use the word too. Kardashian is smart enough to market herself. Lebron had the work ethic to get to that level. Many people are as talented as Bron, but they don't train every single day to get their. You don't have the dedication or discipline to get anyhwere close to Lebron and neither do most of those scientists you talked about before.

You referenced "Black Man" several times in your response to my comments. I am at a loss as to what the man's race has to do with his moronic behavior, or more importantly, my observations...

Him being a black had everything to do with what he was saying and the word he was using. As I said before, I’m not in the business of telling grown men what they can and can’t say, and if there are consequences, then he’s a grown man, he’ll have to deal with it. I’m also not in the business of telling other people how to live their lives, or what their morality should be.

He wasn’t there as a representative of the Miami hurricanes football team, its fans, or the university, he was there as a fan. Why does everything a single person have to be a measure of representation for the actual University. It is NOT. It’s just one fan doing his thing and doing what he wants to do.

As far as his language, what he was saying, and how he delivers it, I guess you must not watch games with a very diverse group. I won’t get into it, but next time try to watch a game and mix it up with some people different than yourself..

Don’t overcomplicate things.
