I think he missed 3 bubble screens today.

Dude was off...I was ok that Richt pulled him. We werent going anywhere all day. He sent a message. Maybe now Malik can eat his Big Cheese in peace...lol

"I was just out there to be out there, and I was kind of like going through my reads instead of dialing in and focusing every snap. After that, it really put this football game into perspective, that any moment I could get pulled."

I totally agree with you. There are a whole lot of fans who will agree with whatever Richt does. I love Ricth as our HC but that was the weakest dumbest move a HC can do.
I knew he raised the white flag when he did that move. No way you could come back from behind with a worse QB than we already have.
Richt could have sent a message to Rosier but also sent a bigger message to the team, the guy who lead you all this time and was undefeated is NO GOOD.

You ride with the guy who gave you all those wins and not abandon him when he has a bad game. Terrible message.
 
worst decision he made since being here. Not even close.

As much as I believe in sticking with who brought you, I liked the move for this very reason. I am grateful for Rosier and will always appreciate and cheer for him, but as a National Champioship QB, he is fools gold. I was getting worried that too much fake success would cement him as the starter for next year. Now we will have legit competition again, which Perry might just win, and it won't cause a lockeroom problem.

Let's learn from this, regroup, and go win that ACC championship.

3rd Q you send a message. 4th Q you just sent the message to Rosier and the entire country that you don’t trust him.

Awful, awful, awful move by Richt. Rosier stinks. I’ve thought I️t all year and didn’t say much here cause we were winning. But even as a rosier hater I️ say you let the kid have a shot to win I️t, being that he did I️t several times this year.

Terrible call by Richt.

The guy was missing everything. Wide open guys in the flats, overthrown passes downfield, balls batted down at the line. Malik couldn't hit anything. I understand why you'd take him out. It could've happened sooner too.

Mark Richt gave him all the time in the world to recover and pull himself out of it

He has missed everyone all year. Not as bad as today, but he just isn’t accurate. But he gets I️t done with his legs and his balls. Awful call to bench him.

I don’t like the move. But if sheriff drives for a score. Mark richt is a genius. But he didn’t so bad move
 
Too much talk about signing autographs and getting recognized in public. Kid looked disinterested all game long. I think he should have been pulled earlier, probably after the 3 and out to start the 3rd.

AS A qb. Not sure worrying about being benched during a game is a good thing.

What a message you send to any QB plays for you! You have a bad game after you give me the best undefeated record as a HQ (in a season) and if you have a bad game I will bench you in the last 10 minutes of the game. The message was, you are so bad that I'm willing to give the game to Pitt to teach you a lesson. Wow! Have you noticed how more energized Pitt players were after he benched Rosier?

He had just missed Berrios on an easy bubble screen to the right side. He needed to get his attention and make him snap out of it. For 3and1/4th qtrs CMR allowed him to stay in hoping he would react but he didn’t. Then he came back cool calm and collected and threw a beautiful pass to Berrios.

I was also thinking about that story as Malik was sleepwalking through this game.

I don't see UM beating Clemson without a solid game from Malik. He's getting roasted on the board now, rightfully so given his lackluster, uninspiring performance today throwing the football. CMR and JR have to get this kid's confidence back if we expect to beat the Tigers. I expect a similar game plan to the one Pitt employed to force Malik to make accurate throws. Malik has to accept the challenge and raise up.
