Remember when OSU was saying they were happy about their guard being replaced?

Lulz
Idk see how ole miss is going to stop us getting through they’re worse on the line then OSU. Dude is going to be running every play. Real question is he he out run them all night and not get picked by our ball hawks in the back end

If I wasn’t so emotionally invested in this game this would actually be a lot of fun

One thing about Heatherman is he doesn’t sit around taking punches. He immediately tries to wrestle momentum back. OSU beat us on their 2nd IIRC. He dialed up a crazy good blitz and play they just beat us on it

Ole Miss is gonna throw some big punches and I expect some wild stuff from Heatherman

Great matchup for football fans really

OSUs 3rd down play to start the game where we basically sacked Sayin with everyone

Blount is lined up at Nose Tackle (well slightly to the left of the center)

Then 3 and 4 to his left

Wes is basically our right defensive tackle here and then Lightfoot all the way out wide

I think it’s Scott next to the LDE

Not sure why we even bother discussing what position these guys will play here

I keep hearing Chambliss plays sandlot football

We play sandlot defense
Here is the play in motion. Watch how after the snap Blount replaces Lightfoot as the edge/contain and Lightfoot sprints to the flats to cover the hot.

This man is insane lol

I legit laughed when I saw this

I still feel like Blount doesn’t quite get enough credit. Maybe I’m wrong

He is a literal freak of nature man child wrecking machine and basically what 18?

Rewatching the game now. Bro ole miss is about so see something they haven’t all year like all the other teams. And they’re still talking.

He is going to be unblockable next season at 285 290
People that don’t follow recruiting closely probably don’t know if he had stayed in his class he had a #1 prospect trajectory

Likely wouldn’t just because SEC stuff and QBs but he was a Top 10 lock and 5 star talent for sure

Idk if it’s possible because he’s been playing really well but ya’ll are dangerously close to overrating chambliss imo. Like he’s good. If you think he’s worlds apart from Marcel Reed idk what to tell you. He’s older than Marcel and makes more mature decisions but they’re of the same talent lol

I said I thought Reed/Concepcion/Craver worried me more and I thought A&M was the best overall team in the SEC

Didn’t go over very well 🤣

Ole miss is good! Full stop. We just played Mario craver, Kc Concepcion, Jeremiah smith, Carnell tate and Brandon innis. And the average Miami fan can’t name ole miss leading wr, like cmon what are we doing.

Exactly 💯 and both teams with confusion without an OC.. I'll be shocked if we don't boat race them ..

Maybe Im that guy, but like you said when people compare him to reed I see an older more mature reed which to me is a great player lol.. (Reed had a lil heisman talk near end of season) Chambliss has liek eight or nine 300 yard games. He has more 300 yard passing + 50 yard rushing games than Johnny Manziel and only Jayden Daniels has done it one more time than him in SEC history. That is two Heisman QBs. I think only reason he didnt get Heisman talk is because he didnt start first 2 games and pad the stats there, if he did I think his numbers woulda justified it in a down year..

As a true Dual Threat running a Briles inspired offense, this is probably the best QB we have faced in last few seasons. Im going thru the full games and he is also another streaky thrower who misses throws, so its not all rainbows and sunshine or whatever. But the numbers are there for the kid. Idk what it was against UGA that allowed him to get on heater but thru season their offense does go into lulls in most games. But the scheme is already difficult as is and they have skill guys that make it tough. I still think we got the guys to make his life **** and pull out a win if we play a clean game overall.

And maybe I just like to respect the opponent too much because I saw how we were prior to UL AND SMU and then hearing how tamu/osu fans were, I like to just line it up straight.. lol

We were 1 vote away from a pop tart bowl loss and arguing about whether it was meaningless or not

I prefer these types of discussions 🤣

All I’m saying is he’s not Cam Ward lol he’s a good player and will present problems. But throwing for 300 in the context of the offense he plays in kinda feels like a given to me. Like yeah he has to execute. But he’s gonna give you plenty of chances to stall him out as well

Like I really been trying to avoid this cause ole miss fans are really nice. But if we get a lead early (which I think we will) and can dictate what they call on offense.. man you might as well turn on your PS5.
We’re gunna be able to run the ball. If we can pass the ball and hit some explosives deep, we probably win by >10.

We played a good amount of bump and run vs Ohio State. More than anyone else does vs that WR group and more than we probably expected to. And for the most part it shut down that WR ggroup.

If we are willing to do that vs them, we will be willing to do it vs Ole Miss. That will take away some of their quick game.

But will they answer with TE throws at that point? Targeting either of 1 or 31 in the pass game can lead to success.

Yea definitely not Cam level but he does add 500+ yards rushing and 8 TDs. Should be a fun game as long as we get the W. lol.
