I just can't believe how bad kayaa is

This is what happens when you only watch UM football and the only thing you have to compare it to are highlights of other teams you catch on ESPN. "Man, during that twenty second highlight tape, those other QBs look so great compared to Kaaya. They never miss receivers or take sacks. All they do is throw touchdown passes or break off long runs." When you actually watch other teams play, you'll see a lot of the same faults in every other quarterback that you see in Kaaya. Except a lot of the other quarterbacks' faults are much worse. Maybe people got too caught up in hype and thought Kaaya was going to be some unstoppable force. Able to overcome poor blocking, a lack of running game and receivers dropping passes but he's not superman. He's a pretty good quarterback who can make almost any throw if given a chance but still has to work parts of his game if he wants to be great..

The problem is that with the utter absence of a run threat he needs to be lights out in every other area, and he's not. When you can't pick up 3 or 4 yards with your legs when it's wide open for the taking, you better not be inconsistent throwing, and he's been inconsistent. You have to be able to consistently get the yardage that 90% of QBs in 2016 are able to get with their feet if you're going to be a big time offense.

I hope 2 meaningless wins isn't letting this board forget just how awful this guy is.

This.

Not only can he not run, he can't manipulate the pocket well to buy time and throw accurately down the field against pressure.

All QBs miss throws/reads, but he seems to miss them in clutch moments. Like almost every single time.

It's like when people used to criticize AROD for hitting 3-run homers in the 8th when the team was either up 10 or down 10.

During our 4-game losing streak, Kaaya had several opportunities to step up.

He didn't.

Exactly and can't cost us game

Kaaya is a certified JAG. Often doesn't make the accurate pass, throws to receivers he has no business throwing to, locks onto his first read, etc... With the weapons we have on offense, Kaaya is doing the bare minimum. We'll be better off when he leaves.

Does he miss some throws? Yes, because he is a human and not a robot. I think he needs to win a few of the big games to get the idiots off his back. He needs make sure the 2016 team wins out, wins the bowl game and then come back and beat FSU in tally. That would shut these monkeys up.

Kaaya is terrible, worst quarterback in CFB and the worse to come to UM in awhile

Kyle wright is not getting better . Still locks on to WRs and misses wide open throws . His best passes are because the WRs make big time plays .

If anything these past two games really highlighted how limited we are by him. With a good QB the game is over by the third quarter against UVA and NCST.

The important part though is that we're finally playing to his and the offense's strength, which we weren't doing before.

looking back and thinking he was going to be a heisman contender preseason... lol wtf was I smoking

I still can't believe the throws I see this guy missing as a junior in a very basic flat lined offense.. specifically flat lined IMO BECAUSE of kayaa

It takes talent to over throw njoku not even 10 yards down the field so badly that njoke can't even get one hand on the ball

I don't know what I would even do with him at this point. He's got the mean streak of a sloth
I agree

He's garbage we all know it even the kaaya apologist lol at the clowns blaming Richt before when he clearly has coached qbs at UGa with more talent in their pinky than Kaaya smh stupid

**** didn't mean to Dv sorry was trying to up vote

hes bad relative to expectations, he's right there with Finley, Pitt guy, Syracuse guy, 2nd tier in ACC pecking order

How can someone who watched last week's game possibly conclude that Kaaya and Finley are remotely comparable? Finley is straight ****

finley looked like Kaaya against VT , bunch of pressure, no running game, bunch of drops, and lacked athleticism to make plays, actually Finley did a better job of getting rid of the ball and not taking 8 sacks

So now Kaaya is expected to catch the ball too? That seems fair.

Sad there is a thread openly bashing one of our own. You wouldn't think this is a canes message board if you read this thread. Mods do better this is pathetic

Why are so many threads like this allowed on a Canes message board? It's really sad and pathetic. Kys OP.
