I hear you. But in that instance, he did make plays when it mattered. He “won” us the game multiple times, but his teammates found ways to let him down. Everyone will remember the final interception, which is fine, but that’s not even 1/10 of the story of that game.I didn’t say he lost the game, but he wasn’t clutch when it mattered. You can play bad the whole game, but the real ones make the plays when it matter, and Beck simply couldn’t do it.
Dropped catches turned into interceptions, dropped touchdowns, untimely penalties, poor blocking, bad vision by the running backs. Even the defense sucked late in that game. And don’t get me started on the refs.
I can understand people complaining about the Louisville game. This one, though, just doesn’t pass the smell test.
