I hope Miami vs FSU is #1 vs #2

Why do people always want to make this so hard. As a Cane fan, you want;

1 Miami to win every game
2 Ufag to lose every game.
3 Fspoo to lose every game.
4 Any other ACC team to lose every game.

If this happens, Miami wins the NC and you have your big time game.
 
Its not just about FSU. They are just the team on the schedule this year that offers the best opportunity at playing in one of the biggest games of the year. I thought it was going to be Clemson.

Me personally, the Miami i grew up on during the championship years was the Miami that played in games during the regular season that everyone was watching. Whether it was FSU, ND, etc

I don’t think i would get the same satisfaction of playing garbage teams or just decent teams and going to the playoffs as opposed to that one or two games that are MUST SEE tv for the nation.

We all root against ND too but you telling me it would have been just as great or memorable had ND been winless and unranked?

Guys go to schools like Miami to play jn THOSE games. **** maybe i am retarded lol my baaad fellas but A&M didn’t satisfy my appetite. UNC probably won’t either. Maybe Clemson will if they win this weekend.

But i want to be in THEEEE game of the year, the century even! Le go!!!

That has never happened during a Miami title year. You are telling me you would have rather that happened than wide rights? Costing them a title? Essentially beating USF and UCF or FIU? That excites you? Holy **** i must be a weirdo
 
My son told me he's considering going to Florida State to go be with his friends...

Well better hope you get a full ride academically or musically...I'm not paying for a notebook. I hate that place that much. If they lost every game I'd throw a party. I pray all the bad things in life happen to them

Winning NC's excites me, whether its against ND, OSU, TCU, USC, or even fspoo/uf. Winning regular season games are just a step in the process. I don't need fspoo to be undefeated to feel good about beating them. Beating them no matter what their record feels good, so why would I want them to have a winning record?

Nah. I'm more concerned with Miami winning games, rivals losing games and focused on recruits paying attention to both.

Last thing we need in any scenario is FSU winning the ACC or getting the playoffs. Any chance they get against a foe that can take them out, let 'em lose.

Better to see Clemson beat them than Boston College for optics-sake; as the Eagles suck and Miami gets their shot at the Tigers and Noles for supremacy-sake in the conference.... but the more time FSU spends in the Top 5, the more than helps their cause.

FSU has the #6 class, UF is #3 and UM is #16.

We want Miami to rack up wins, while rivals lose. Always.
 
The wail you’ll be hearing from the Northern part of the State will be from FSU fans who are finding out, all too late, that that 72” Big Screen they brought home from Wal-Mart for the UM game can’t fit through the front door of the Double-Wide.

Because that is what has made Miami be Miami. Not just vs FSU. Forget FSU for a minute. Miami didnt become Miami by dominating the weak. FSU many years, vs UCLA 98, UF, Tenn, Notre Dame top ten matchups all throughout history.

Thats ALL i know when it comes to Miami. I don’t know anything else. I have never seen it. I dont even know what that looks like where everyone you play is garbage until post season. Respect brother

But I’m not gone lie, the fsu game hit different when both teams are winning. Short of the cfp idk that we could ask for a bigger national stage if both teams go into that game undefeated

Interesting thing about that 1998 UCLA game, I'll never forget that cause that was my "WE BACK!!" moment. We lost 3 games that year and we lost 4 games the following year in 99 but you knew we were coming up with all the talent we had. The probation days were over and that was a relieve for a lot of us at that time. I wouldn't worry about that big signature game. It might not happen until 2026 or maybe it happens as early as against Clemson this year or it might never happen but when it happens I'll have a few tears coming down my eyes
