Meh, they aren't worth the energy to hate that much, what have they ever taken from us? Hate osu and the refs, hate UW for getting half our '91 NC or breaking our streak, hate Nebraska for '95, or PSU for '86, but the hokies? Why bother.

They've been a huge conference rival for 25 years. Their fans are trash. They've had our number for a long time. I hate them.

Yeap. I hate the smucks. They are the only team worthy of our hate. I hate the gator because they were just slime but never beat us when we were good. I hate VT because they gave us crap even when we were good. Rape these sobs.
 
VT is certainly worth our hate if you’ve been following the last 20 years

One of my roommates back in 2004 was a Hokie alum. I hated Va Tech before I met him but after my brief stay, I hate them even more. Those ***** fans are truly delusional when it comes to their perception of Va Tech's football program. Hokie fans are convinced that they've won 15 national championships.

I would never try to take anyone's hatred of another team from them, but I'm just not feeling it.

They've never beaten us when I thought our team was worth a ****, so I'm not too bothered by them. We've been just as likely to lose out to UNC or GT as the turkeys. If we lose on Saturday I'll start working up a good righteous hatred, but for now not so much. If nothing else, I love them for being undefeated in the early 2000s so that they helped us with the BCS computers. It was so cute how every year they'd be like "this is the year for us!"
 
All of this is very true ... I live 20 minutes away from Blacksburg and I Hate them more than any other team in the country ... Their fans seriously are the most delusional in all of college football .. They look at ACC championships the way we look at National Championships ... I actually get just as happy from a Miami win as I do when Tech loses .... Hope Miami blows em out

I can tell by your words that you, do in fact, hate them. You're just not admitting it.
 
I'd love to know our record against them since joining the Big East. I bet they hold a 5 or 6 game advantage.
