That issue predates Blake. Don't forget the extensions Coker and Shannon also received.

So true. We need someone to tear the "when to extend" pages out of the UM AD operating manual.

One only coached in a “natty” because there was a playoff. He finished #3 that year, just like Richt did his second year.

Richt is horrific, but @Andrew’s fantasies of UGA titles aren’t happening. UGa is doing the same **** they did under Richt, and Miami is doing the same **** they did with Al Golden.
 
Was saying it for years, slurring through Matchbox Twenty drunk at sports bars. If Georgia had a legit coach other than Richt they’d be a power with that talent and no instate threat. When we hired him my throat dropped into my balls. My hope later on was that just an ok coach at Miami would make waves. Wrong.
 
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.. that sums up CMR I think Randall Hill summed it up earlier this week. UM is not UM anymore, because before we had to win to bring money to the University, but now being part of the ACC winning doesn’t really matter anymore. Blake James is a fraud, seeing what he is seeing and doing nothing proves RH right. We are a mediocre program now, and this isn’t going to change anytime soon. This ******* sucks!

I gurantee They won’t make it to the playoffs, already 1 loss and they not beating bama in the championship game. Miami still trash under richt though

Wrong

UGA finished unranked 4 times in Richts last 7 years. I can promise you Kirby won’t be that bad. Think Richt won the East once in that time, Kirbs won it twice in 3 years.

Richt won the east two out of his first three years too. Their tenures could not be more similar so far.

The SEC during Richt’s 1st 3 seasons is NOT what the SEC is now.

Comparing the numbers is a lazy way out.
