I forgot about QB Evan Shirreffs!

Kane, fair point on Coley and QBs, but if Coley was sold on Evan, why did he make him wait until after signing day to give him a commitable offer?

Not a quip, but I say because he knew he could since he knew no one meaningful had him rated high. As you both have said, we'll see soon enough what he is when he faces legit athletes in bunches. The beautiful thing about football is that you will be conspicuous for your talent or your lack of it. Hoping he gets better with better talent around him rather than the opposite.

I think he will be a bust. I love being right. Now that he is a Cane, I hope I am wrong. I wish him great success. Based on his grades he has a bright future even if he doesn't cut it on the gridiron.
 
Ecush, honestly dude,....how in the **** can he be a bust, when basically NOONE in the college football universe knew anything about him nor were they recruiting him? The "BUST" label is reserved for the 4 and 5* kids, you know, the kids that we are actually expecting something from.
 
Sorry Kane, I just meant he will never see the field. I've seen a lot of hype on several sites for an unknown unrecruited kid. Like I said he is a cane now I wish him well.
