I find it ironic

everybody loves high scoring games with a lot of TDs, but the tension in this game knowing that any single play could be the difference was unreal

I would rather be up 12-3. Give me a 9 point lead going into the 4th quarter against OSU. I can live with a little excitement. Even better make it 30-3.
Yes of course we'd all prefer a blowout if our team is playing.

But I'm saying the low score made every play matter until the very end which is what makes a game exciting.

Blowouts are boring for everybody except the team that's winning.

It's like casual boxing fans disliking a non-slugfest. It was a defensive chess match with gusty winds. The Aggies had a solid squad and HC.

For a low scoring game, it was not without excitement and big plays. The teams couldn't get in the endzone, but there was ball movement. The most egregious hypocrisy is about "playoff worthy" Alabama and their SEC championship game performance where they barely crossed midfield. Would you rather having a boring but competitive game or a boring game that isn't even competitive?

Loudest voices in the room aside, I think most fans would say the Miami game was way more entertaining than either of the other two games on Saturday. I think you could make a strong argument that it was more exciting than Alabama Oklahoma, which was a useless rematch of two interchangeable teams that have already played and aren't going to win it all.

Sacks, interceptions, fumbles, shoestring tackles, 4 missed field goals and a blocked field goal. players knocked out, low penalties and game stoppage, up tempo, Mark Fletcher blowing over dudes, fatboy Elko’s devastated face at the end of the game.

Not boring.

I hate the steelers and the Ravens, but growing up i used to love watching them play eachother. The physical defensive games and power running. Sure the high scoring games are fun but pure defense is the best.
