Was a legit call the guy lowered his helmet. I'm in favor of the rule. Like all rules the refs sometimes make the wrong call. Kids need to learn to keep their heads up. Using the crown of the helmet is dangerous for everyone involved.

If we can sit here and debate it and the broadcasters do the same in live time then we shouldn't be regularly tossing kids from games and possibly changing the outcomes. If anything, review it after and then issue suspensions for the most egregious cases. I'm not comfortable with them getting it right at a high enough frequency in-game.

Those of you who say bad call don't know the rule. You can't hit another player anywhere on their body with the Crown of the Helmet in 2015.

They could easily eliminate these call by requiring all defensive players to take their heads off before each game.

Otherwise, it's kind of hard to keep your head from being between you shoulders.

I'm all for kill shots. But there is a proper way to do it. And using your head as a battering ram is not.
