I don't want to get carried away....

On more serious note, for some context, Oregon let an FCS team put 40 on them. Eastern Washington is one of the better FCS teams (certainly better than BC), but it's still FCS.
Mark Oregon down as another team we'd dominate based on this FACT propounded by Kreider. Thanks, chappy.

Just context my friend. Nothing more nothing less. Although is is a bit funny to think what this board would be like if Bethune put 20 on us, let alone 40.
That's the thing. Power 5 teams especially the big time programs don't get credit for beating down these bull**** teams. And they will get criticized and rightly so for allowing it to be close. You don't get credit for what you're supposed to do. That's why I hate these kinds of games. It's like a preseason game in the NFL, it tells you nothing and is pointless for fans.

We'd be stuck with the "UM is racist" threads that polluted the board the last couple of years. At least this sarcasm angle is amusing, albeit only mildly.

Eastern Washington would beat Bethune by 70.

We haven't looked like that defensively since the last time we played a horrible FCS team. I could feel that the players were more unified than last year. I noticed them congratulating each other after good plays, and they never did that last year. Not once.
Like Savannah?

Am I the only one that noticed the tangible increase in accountability and sportsmanship out there? You can clearly see the manifestations of pillars as well as the culmination of team chemistry.

We should all agree to continue to take it one game at a time, but the process is taking hold and as we speak at least one or two clouds have already cleared out from around Coral Gables.

That was a good team we beat today. With any luck we'll avoid any more night games and get this thing turned around STAT.
Thank you Sheldon.

Just re watched the game and the team chemistry absolutely jumps off the screen. We may not be able to judge this improvement in terms of wins by seasons end , but gosh darn it we going to win the team unity battle

I did not watch the game, but if Al is still coaching and if your think there is anything to be excited about I suggest strong drink. On a different but same note, I caught some of a doc on PSU, Happy Valley I think. If anyone saw it, doesn't one of Joe Pa's sons look like Al? And one more thing, is everyone at PSU and in Happy Valley white?

Yes, except for the athletes.

Watched the Oregon-East Wash game myself and have to agree. Team was really good.

App State circa 2007 would hang 100 on Bethune.

These dudes think every FCS team is the same. That Bethune team might be one of the worst FCS teams in the country this year.

I just hope we don't lose F A G to another school after last night's display.

After we rip FAU asunder this weekend that will become a very real possibility unfortunately. When programs like Illinois and Rutgers see the monolith Miami flexing on college football, they might swoop in while they can.

If Golden can beat Bethune by 40+, imagine what he could do against legit FCS teams like North Dakota St. or Illinois St. Golden could go undefeated in the Missouri Valley Conference, no doubt about it.

Can't believe you all have suckered me into comparing FCS teams, but chise's reading comprehension problems did the trick. So BC is one of the worst. The team returns a Ton of seniors from a team that finished in the top 25 of whatever FCS polls they use (EW in the top 10). This year they opened up at 31/124. Maybe that makes them one of the worst. I'll defer to your wisdom.

Anyway, FAU and Tulsa combined for about 20 losses last year, so if we don't give the Owls a beat down, maybe you will get the disastrous season you've been asking Santa for after all.

Talk about last year all you want. THIS BCC team is horrible. They have a new HC, and they absolutely stink.

that play calling will get our offense killed by any decent FBS defense. Not even sure Nebraska is a good test. Winning that is not enough. We have to dominate Nebraska for me to get excited about this season

Unfortunately, you don't get it either.

The only excitement for Miami football in the foreseeable future, is when Golden gets fired.
