Richt has won the SEC twice, the SEC east 6 times, gone 145-51, won 10+ games nine times and finished in the top 10 eight times.

And now you, of all people, is out in front leading the charge for Butch, who you've **** on since day 1, against Richt.

Here is the problem with these stats...These are not ELITE level statistics. I thought this is what we were in this for? To become elite again?

This guy GOT RAN OUT OF THE SEC because he couldnt hang with Nick, Les, and whoever is/was coaching at UF. So we have PROOF that Mark isnt elite. We've seen a glimpse of what Butch can do on TWO different occasions. He built an ELITE team that many will argue was the best team in the country by years end in 2000.

He built a UNC team that WOULD have been elite if Marvin Austin hadnt opened his big mouth while buying **** in the Louis Vuitton store on South Beach on one fateful Summer day..

We have PROOF that Butch CAN be elite. Yet you want to take a flyer on a guy who A) Doesnt look to me to have the passion to want to win a title...B) We dont know if he can consistantly recruit in SoFla head to head against Nick, Jimbo, Gus, and now Jim McElwain...and C) who in 15 years couldnt even lead ANY of those talented UGA teams close enough to even sniff the MNC game..

AND he will cost probably DOUBLE what Butch would take. And we really are considering this guy because it would be a "splash" hire? Smh.

Ok, you keep holding out for Nick Saban or Urban meyer, you know, that "homerun hire."

Miami fans are delusional turning their noses up at Les Miles, Mark Richt and Butch Davis.

Oh believe me, I am not apart of the "Dreamchaser" crew. I knew all along we were never going to get Herman, Fuente, Patterson, Chip, Dantonio and whoever else posters like Consigliere, Franchise, Golden Showers and those other cats viewed as "potential interested" candidates. Pipe Dreams at best.

If Butch didnt want the job I would be ecstatic to get Richt. But Richt is starting to actually get on my **** nerves honestly. This clown should be JUMPING at the chance to coach this team and prove those bums in the SEC wrong. That he is an elite coach and he can go head to head with Jimbo and Nick. He should have flown HIS A$$ down here and lobbyed for the job like Butch did! Thats what a hungry coach would do. Hungry to get back in the game and win a title. Esp with the potential roster we have coming back.

But we actually have to persuade this guy? Really? With that resume? LOL. Like hes King Tut or some ****. Man if I find out this clown with to interview with UVA or MD and we didnt tell him to F off and take the offer off the table I will never forgive Blake. Ultimate slap in the face.
