I bet Thomas returns a kick this week

Kid is slowly gaining confidence. I have a feeling he houses one this week whether its a KO or PR in mop up.

I hope he doesn't get too many chances to return a kickoff. Punts in mop up duty are fine.

The kid is not used to the physicality yet. Hes a true freshman. ITs quite evident he shys away from contact and runs timid.

He looked a lot better against Georgia Tech, I believe. I think he trucked a guy too. So hes gaining confidence but hes not there yet.

Punt and kick returners have to be fearless af and be able to cut it up field with a reckless abandon.

I said this when people asked about why we weren't using him and harley on reverses and jet sweeps. They aren't cutting up field and playing physical as they could. which is expected for kids fresh out of high school playing on the field with grown *** men.

He needs his confidence but like Sileo said it's not all on him. Our guys have not been blocking well. Our special teams' play has to improve.

Someone says this every week but he hasn't come close.

Would like to see them give someone else a look, perhaps flip he and Dallas so that Dallas receives those kicks.
JT is progressing nicely at WR and getting more PT there. I would also like to see Dallas return kicks but don’t want JT blocking.

Dude is not a good return man. Maybe he'll become one, but for now he's not helping the team in that way. These returns to the 20 aren't helping field position, and there's always the chance for a fumble. I don't know what we have as far as other guys, but he's not getting the job done.

I wish people would stop assuming because a guy is fast he should be a kick returner.

Thomas has been awful.
