I've been venting all week; it's needed after that sh-t show. But this conversation was about flying banners and calling for CMR to be fired, not venting.

flying banners is venting to some folks...you reiterating that he isn't going to be fired is going to do what exactly?

Did you not read this entire thread? I was simply offering my opinion on why I think flying banners to fire CMR would have nothing but a negative impact on our program right now. For F sake, we have someone here advocating that we should fly banners for the Duke game and all boycott attending. Yeah, that'd be wonderful for the program while we have a bunch of recruits visiting!

That's all I'm saying, man. Just offering my opinion, which is all it is, that a bunch of banner flying and "fire CMR" crap right now, since it is not going to lead to a head coach change, would have a negative impact and absolutely zero benefit. Again, happy to agree to disagree. But that was the context of my comments.
 
Flying a banner is the equivalent of jumping on Twitter and telling a recruit, who didn't choose Miami, that you hope he tears his ACL.

It is childish and embarrassing, but I guess after reading this board for a couple years I am not surprised by the lack of logical thinking.

Yes, it is.

It's embarrassing to Richt.

And especially to UM.

For making half-assed coaching selections, as it takes a special kind of stupid to keep getting the same, identical, crap results.
 
Miami is still a program that is trying be revived but that is never an easy task because reviving in Miami would mean playoffs/nc title games for years to come.
