Miami might be a good football job, but it might not be a good AD job.

AD's jobs are to make the school athletic program profitable. If they win championships so much the better but the goal is to turn a profit which can be done quite easily without ever winning a championship in any sport. The next AD will be charged with not only making a profit but winning a championship as well. I don't know what would make a big time AD in a great program leave there to come here and deal with this unless we're offering them a sweet deal. Blake was turning a profit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new AD turns out to be an up and comer. If its Highsmith....well he's an up and comer in terms of college football AD acumen.
