I’m not Mad

Well, punting was better than last year too...but we are taking penalties at horrible times. Cam has had over 100 yards of rushing and two TDs called back we needed to win both games.

1998 UCLA or whatever game we alway say this team grew from??

00 team, Washington.

I’m not generally positive about things around here, more neutral, but not ready to give on this team.

Do you really think UNC is going to run the table? We still have UVA at home. This hurts but there's still a lot of football left. I'm not being masochistic but it's been too long an off season to give it up in the second week of September.

After UiF: "We roll the rest of the season until the ACC championship."

After UNC: "We roll the rest of the season until the ACC championship."

"secondary was unfortunate"

Yea, I think the only reason we didn’t know how bad they were two weeks ago is because the Gators QB is trash. Howell is a better QB and we got exposed. Just confirmed that we would regress back there this season. They’re young, just sucks to watch.

I see a very limited QB at this stage of his development. His accuracy is outstanding but his field vision is extremely poor. Can’t make progressions, holds the ball too long. Lost if his first read isn’t open. Poor ball security. He could have walked in that two point conversion but lack of vision impelled him to throw to Mallory. Costly mistake.

I saw progression.

Special teams was rough, secondary was unfortunate, run defense could be better. There were some drops. We obviously have **** to work on...

But Jarren got better. He might be something special. Offense was a lot better to watch (including the o-line). I saw less penalties. Running game showed it’s face, We actually have a punter.

They’re 0-2, def not happy about that, but I’m not mad. I actually feel better about this, than those games we were pulling out of *** 2 years ago. I’m willing to bet we roll the rest of the season until the ACC championship.

Just my take.

GET THE **** OUT!

Good thing we're not a leopard. I sat a friend house in the Grove and watched the opening game against UF in 1983 when we started a redshirt freshman that not many have ever heard of. I remember saying "I can't believe how bad we are". We didn't find the end zone at all. They improved each week.

Obviously, with two losses anything like that's not going to happen. But at the same time, anyone that thought we were going to make a run and challenge Clemson (this year) was delusional. This year, we just have to keep getting better and have momentum and positive buzz going into December so that we can get reinforcements with the next class.

Yeah we looked ******* **** giving up 17 points in the 1st quarter after 2 weeks off against a 2 win UNC team with a true freshman QB and an 80 year old HC who hasn’t coached in 5 years. I’m ******* fired up.

I get what you are saying. We struggle against UNC, so I having a hard time looking at the schedule and seeing 6 wins. It's not we are solid team that had a bad night. We fought for everything. Even in the Golden years there were teams I knew we would beat. I cant say that now.

Who do we beat? Bethune? Yes. GT? Maybe Pitt? Maybe. Duke, Virginia, Louisville, and VT are starting look like Ls. Central Mich may give a run

Not saying we can't come out of this season 10-2, but I having time looking at this team and saying "This part of team can get us there"

This is the same thing we all said last week. If we lose again are we going to say the same thing? Although I tend to agree with you because, overall, on offense at least, I saw a more disciplined unit. Less penalties, although there were very crucial holdings that brought runs back and such, overall I saw a much more confident offense that moved the ball up the field in chunks, was varied and mixed in the run and pass well. Jarren was much more poised and had a quicker internal clock. Plus, I feel like UNC is probably the best team in the Coastal. Not on paper, that would be us, but just in the way they're playing at this moment. I'm also an optimistic fan and I always think we're gonna roll.

But the sad part now is we don't completely control our own destiny. Even if we win out, we have to hope UNC loses to someone that we beat in order to force a tie. No excuses. Some parts are getting better, slowly. Others have regressed, like the Defense. Which is scary considering our HC was the architect of the Championship level defense we had last year. Special teams is horrendous. Most championship level teams have reliable kickers.

We’re not beating UVA, VT, or any other ACC program with a pulse. And, yes, we will loose to Willie and FSU, bad as they are.
