I’m gonna say it, Homer is a better back...

Please stop...I like Homer (his hands surprised me) and he is going to be a player. But Walton is that dude. Would have done the same thing with those same looks.

Kid keeps this up, he is going to have a lot to say about Lingard coming in next year and taking his lunch. He is tough, explosive and can catch the rock.

Sure seems that way. Someone in the gameday thread made the Arian Foster analogy, and I like that one. Dude is just a beast and needs to be fed more.

Walton is a good RB and so is Homer but Homer will be the better RB. Walton has yet to have a good game against good competition...he tears up the lower P5 and D2 schools.,.

Disagree. Homer would get behind those linemen and come out 4-5 yards ahead whereas Walton kept getting caught back there. There's an obvious difference between these two right now, the question is whether this continues as teams start getting more film on Homer.

I agree but that doesn't mean Walton isn't really good. What I want to know is why did Richt not sit Walton and let him get healthy when Homer can clearly carry the load?

Walton is good. Homer is also good. Duke Johnson was on a different level besides good. Duke was real life elite and a finisher.

Some of yall act like Walton Barry Sanders out here. Walton is good college back. I don't see the kid as elite. Just a great pure football player.

Homer is much better at 100% than Walton at 50%. Hard to argue with what Walton was doing before he tweaked his ankle. I know he didn't do it against any decent defenses but we'll never know.

That being said.. Homer has lived up to the hype of what we thought he would be out of high school. He's a notch below elite as a college RB. Same overall class as I would put Walton.

I'll stick by my comparison from earlier this season.. Wayne Gallman.

One things for sure, if you have to tackle him you'd better bring it because he sure as **** will try to run you the **** over.

I prefer Homers style , he's one cut down, hill runner that finished every run off. They're just different , with different strengths
