I’m going to say it

In the off-season, when news is scarce, the shows should be shorter. Maybe a half hour. I know that could affect the amount of ad inventory available but it would force conciseness.
But, I must say, given the time of year, @DMoney has done a great job in keeping things lively. He’s a natural media exec.

I think former players are great to have on but 3x a week is a bit overkill imo. Pete is a polarizing character for sure and I felt he went off the deep-end towards the end of his run, but there was certainly a chemistry there and the good cop/bad cop interplay was a nice balance IMO.

Feel free to drink all the Peter Ariz juice you can swallow.

finding enough interesting topics to put together 5-7 one-hour shows during this time of year is difficult regardless of the hosts

The push for quantity is hurting quality
Fantasy booking a 5 day a week, 60m podcast on Canes sports:

1- Football talk has to be daily to drive #'s

2- Other topics:
Baseball
Basketball
Recruiting

3- Niche topics:
X's and O's specific
Historian
Niche UM sports
Business dealings
Rivalry talk
National talk
Campus updates

With all of that and the 'ha-ha' stuff about soccer, pizza and beer still a tough task for 5 hours a week of info for 50 weeks / year for 10 years

I have no issues with the AR addition…but one of those first shows had some guy on who was talking about recruiting and literally provided zero context to anything and was regurgitating everything D Money said.

I had to turn it off.

But with any change, come some hurdles. I know they will get it ironed out.

The intel AR brought about Lane Liffin recruiting him the other day is good stuff! So I just think they need to do a few more to get in sync.

Politely, I do not see "pro wrestling" anywhere on that list...

:ROFLMAO:

The truth is, it’s not as easy being an entertaining host as people think.

D Money has a natural flair for the gig. Like a born game show host. Pete often came off as stiff or uninterested. He just didn’t have that pizazz. AR is still very green. You can tell he hasn’t been asked to put together longer responses or explanations a lot before . But he’s likable and gives an important player perspective. Hopefully he gets more comfortable.

I do like when they mix up guests. Sometimes, especially on Wednesday with Mike, D and Pete, the show seemed to cater very heavily to a certain demographic.

They’re both boring. But to AR’s defense he hasn’t been doing this anywhere near as long as Ariz and that’s very concerning if i’m Pete.
AR at least can give you perspective that he can’t and I prefer to watch that all day.
