I’m assuming Perry would be as good as Pickett who didn’t play until last week against Va Tech. Also that he’s been able to pick up the offense as the years gone on. We don’t need a lot from the QB. Just hit wide open receivers.
I hear you, sfcane2, but the posters are correct that it is too late to put Perry in as a starter. The redshirt has nothing to do with it since, if he is the real deal, he won't stay for a 5th year anyway. If Rosier had a couple games like Pitt in mid-season and the record was around .500, yes let Perry get the experience. At 10-1 and going into post-season play, it is too late.
