Wouldn’t surprise me at all.
We are addicted to the laziest coaching searches possible.
It’s like our administration has severe social anxiety and only speak to people that speak to them.
Zero imagination or desire to hunt down the best candidate.
 
So there you go. Not so hypothetical. I’m 50 50 on the move. Like it from a recruiting and development perspective but they have no experience at all.

Gotta give him some kind of raise. A decent raise. Apparently many here underestimated Richt's regard for Parke.

When you consider how hands off Richt has been with the defense, he's going to need a DC that can work competently and autonomously. The last thing I want is more on Richt's plate.



Banda is not a "lockdown recruiter." He is probably our best recruiter on the defensive side of the football, I'll give you that, but he has had some guys get away.

NO coach at UM has ever been a lockdown recruiter. NONE. All have lost coveted recruits at some time.

I like continuity with a great successful defense. Don't rock the boat. I think together Patke, Banda and with Simpson's help, can keep it going at a high level.
